Caution
– Use unlocking tool - T10057- Pos. -1- to unclip the top cover

– Carefully drill out the heads of the plastic rivet -1- with a suit‐
able drill and remove the speaker -2-.
– Remove the remains of the plastic rivet (cut off, grind down).
Installing
Installation is performed in the reverse order, pay attention to the
following points:
– Secure new speaker -2- with screws -3- (see ⇒ Electronic
Catalogue of Original Parts “ETKA” ).
Tightening torques

– Remove the door trim panel from which you are removing the
speaker ⇒ General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr. 70 ; Front
door trim panels; Removing and installing front door trim .
– Unplug connector -2-.
– Drill out the rivet -3- with a suitable drill and remove the speak‐
er -1-.
Caution
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.

When using the lever tool, mask points where the lever tool is
applied using commercially available adhesive tape.

– Remove the top rear lid trim ⇒ General body repairs, interior;
Rep. gr. 70 ; Luggage compartment trim; Remove and install
top rear lid trim .
– Disconnect connectors -1- and -3-.
– Unscrew screw -4- by several turns.
– Swing the amplifier -2- out in the direction of the arrow -B-,
slide in the direction of the arrow -A- and remove.
Installing
Installation is performed in the reverse order, pay attention to the
following points:

Removing
– Switch off the ignition and all electrical components.
– Remove the lower rear lid trim ⇒ General body repairs, inte‐
rior; Rep. gr. 70 ; Luggage compartment trim; Remove and
install lower rear lid trim .
– Disconnect connectors -2- and -1-.
– Unscrew screw -2- by several turns.
– Swivel out the aerial module -4-, slide -arrow- and unhook from
the bracket.
Installing
Installation is performed in the reverse order, pay attention to the
following points:

– Unhook the frequency filter -1- from the bearing and remove
with the screw -2-.
Installing
Installation is performed in the reverse order, pay attention to the

– Unclip the aerial -1-, arrows -A- and remove from the holder
-2- in the direction of the arrow -B-.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
Note
The vehicle has 2 LTE aerials that are located under the rear
bumper in the area under the tail lights.
Removing
– Remove the rear bumper ⇒ General body repairs, exterior;
Rep. gr. 63 ; Rear bumper; Removing and installing bumper .
– Unplug connector -2-.
– Remove the securing nuts -arrows- and take off the LTE aerial
-1-.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
Tightening torques

Note
The emergency call module aerial - R263- is glued onto the pan‐
oramic roof and cannot be removed without being destroyed.

– Release the grip with the camera -1- from the catches
-arrows- step by step and remove.
– Unlock and disconnect the connector of the rear view camera.
Installing
Installation is performed in the reverse order, pay attention to the
following points:
– Press the handle with the camera -1- on the concealed frame
step by step (starting from the left side and left rear tab) into
the assembly opening until the retaining tabs click audibly into
place.

Caution
When using the lever tool, mask points where the lever tool is
applied using commercially available adhesive tape.
– Prise the plate with the switch units -2- evenly and carefully
out of the steering wheel -1- using the wedge -3409-
-arrows-.
– Disconnect the plug connection.

– Unscrew screw -arrow A-, swivel out switch unit for gearbox
operation -1- -arrow B- and remove.

Note
Removing
– Switch off the ignition and all electrical components.
– Place the ignition key outside the vehicle to avoid accidentally
turning on the ignition.
– Push the retaining tab in direction of arrow -A-, swivel out the
storage compartment -1- in direction of arrow -B- and unhook
from the mounting, arrows -C-.
– Remove light switch ⇒ Electrical system; Rep. gr. 96 ; Con‐

– Remove the lateral dash panel covers -1- using the wedge
-3409- .
– Hold trim panel -2- by hand and gradually, starting from left,
break away from trim panel -1-.
The broken panel -2- will not be reused, only trim panel -1- re‐
mains in the vehicle.
– Unscrew the screws -3- and detach the control unit -2- with
holder -1- from the bracket.

– Remove the rivet -1- and unscrew the screws -2- on the left
side of the trim panel -3-.
– For easier handling of the control unit, move the steering wheel
adjustment lever down and lever the left side of the trim panel
-3- slightly towards yourself.
– Turn the control unit -2- with holder -1- slightly and pull through
the opening in the dash panel -arrow-.
– Release connector and pull it off.
– Push off the locking lugs in direction of arrow -A- and move
control unit -1- in direction of arrow -B- away from the holder
-2-.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.

– Drive the vehicle out of the workshop to ensure GPS and GSM
signal reception (the GSM and GPS signal strength can be
read in the measured value block).
– Switch on ignition.
The status LED -2- is lit red after ignition is switched on.
When successfully activated after the communication profile has
been downloaded (this may take up to 15 minutes or even longer,
depending on GPS and GSM signal strength), the colour of the
status LED -2- changes from red to green.
If the status LED -2- is green, the ERA Glonass system is activa‐
ted.
Each time the ignition key is disconnect and the ignition is then
switched on, the status LED lights up red and then, after approx.
5 seconds, switches to green.
