BADMINTON

So I chose badminton because I thought this sport was interesting.

1. Badminton is a game for two opposing players (which are called singles) or four opposing
players (that are called doubles)
2. For equipment you will need: a badminton rocket and a shuttlecock
3. Badminton is a casual outdoor activity so it is often played in a yard or on a beach. Formal
games are played on a rectangular indoor court
Here are 5 rules of badminton:
1. Coin toss initiates a game. Depending on who wins the toss, they will either serve or
receive first OR choose which side of the court they wish to be on. Whoever loses the toss
has the remaining option.
2. A player should never touch the net with his racquet or body while playing.
3. You cannot carry or rest the shuttlecock on the racquet.
4. When a player wins a rally, they get a point added to their score.
5. For a serve to be valid, it must cross the court diagonally.
