SIZE INSTRUCTIONS
72” long x 12” wide Using C1, cast on 52 sts. Work in 1x1 Rib for 42 rows.

MATERIALS Cut yarn; join C2 and work in 1x1 Rib for 43 rows.
Manos del Uruguay FRANCA (100% superwash merino
wool; approx. 114 yds/150g), 1 skein each C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, Cut yarn; join C3 and work in 1x1 Rib for 43 rows.
C6, and C7. Shown in F9027 RIbbon (C1), F9028 Confetti
(C2), F9030 Marshmallow (C3), F9026 Cupcake (C4), F9025 Cut yarn; join C4 and work in 1x1 Rib for 43 rows.
Balloon (C5), F9029 Candy (C6), and F9050 Par ty (C7).
Cut yarn; join C5 and work in 1x1 Rib for 43 rows.
US13 / 9mm needle, or size to obtain gauge
US K / 6.5mm crochet hook Cut yarn; join C6 and work in 1x1 Rib for 42 rows. Next row:
Tapestr y needle bind off in pattern.

GAUGE
13 sts = 4” over 1x1 Rib, relaxed FINISHING
Weave in ends.
ABBREVIATIONS
k: knit Using C7, cut 52 pieces of fringe, each 10” long. Attach 1
p: purl strand of fringe in ever y other st at each end of scarf.
rep: repeat

STITCH GUIDE

NOTE
Each stripe is worked over an odd number of rows so that
the join with the next color isn’t always at the same edge.
When weaving in ends, work down a column of sts rather
than across a row, to keep the scarf maximally reversible.
