ACTUAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

Opening of the Sportsfest

During the opening, we attended the program at Toledo National

Vocational School and witnessed the different teams with their yells and
representatives for the Mr. and MS. Sportsfest. In the afternoon, we had a
short practice with my teammates to identify who will play in the first 6.

Game 1 vs South District

We were assigned in Bracket B that is composed of 5 teams. Luckily, we

won in this game with great support from the team. We still congratulated the
opponent for giving a good game.

Game 2 vs TAPS

We were patient enough to wait for our opponent. Unfortunately, TAPS

had no players and resulted for their team to get forfeited. The officiating
officials then announced us as the winner. So, we just had a fun game with

the teachers and other officials as sort of practice for us also to maximize our
time for attending.

Game 3 vs North District

We almost got forfeited since some of my teammates are also players in

other events. But we were still able to play against the North District. I never
expected that it would be a tough game. The game was so close that we made
it until the decision set. Unfortunately, we did not win. However, it did not
stop us from soaring high because we know we still have a chance to get to
the final 4 if we will win the last game against Secondary Cluster 1.

Game 4 vs Secondary Cluster 1

Our motivation was if we win this game, we move on to the crossover 4.

During the start of the game, our score is always leading against the
opponent’s. But I guess, we were so relax thinking that we are leading in
score, until the opponent was the leading the score. Eventually, the opponent
won. Our losing stopped our sportsfest volleyball journey. After the game, we
gathered in one place and discussed what happened. We identified the errors
committed and thought of what should have been done. It was quite
disappointing yet fulfilling as we made a promise to do better next time an
opportunity like this arises. Our journey ended but we look forward to more
next year.
