Directions: Read the passage below and answer the following questions.
Animals have evolved many different body parts that help them survive in
their environment. Some animals have sharp claws and teeth to catch their prey,
while others have strong legs to run fast or long necks to reach high branches for
food. Other animals have special adaptations like the chameleon, which can change
the color of its skin to blend into its surroundings, or the kangaroo, which has a
pouch to carry its young. All of these body parts are essential for animals to live
and thrive in their environment.
