Intermediae
A varietate typical floribus rubris differt.
Holotype: San José, Costa Rica, in cultivation, the photo
published here, June 2006. Oakeley s.n. (holo. K-HFO).
Note: this plant has affinities to L. x daniloi.
Description
As for Lycaste angelae except the tepals are heavily
marked with red.
Etymology
The varietal name rubra is Latin for ‘red’.
