The history of pizza began a long time ago with its origin dating back to A.D. 997. The
modern pizza that we love now was developed in Naples, Italy in the 18th century.
Tomatoes were added to focaccia- a flat oven-baked bread topped with herbs or other
spices. Aside from its rich history, I personally love pizza because of its flavor and aroma.
I consider it as my all- time favorite. I like my pizza served warm and fresh from the oven,
especially when it’s soft in the middle and crunchy on the sides. Thinking about it makes
me crave for it instantly. Additionally, I like the aroma as it entices me and makes me want
more, breaking my weekly diet plan. Recently, there are lots of variations when it comes
to flavors such as pepperoni, mushroom, bacon and cheese, and Hawaiian etc. I like my
pizza loaded with cheese, topped with mushroom, pepperoni and with a thin crust. When I
take a bite of it, I can feel the string of flavors burst in my mouth. You can never go wrong
with pizza. It’s everybody’s favorite.
