PART I: PREPARE SCRIPT

1. Decide your own topic with group members and create suitable title for project video.
2. Use the vocabulary and sentence structure that you have learned in Chapter 6 to 10 to
make a dialogue between group members. Each member must construct AT LEAST 10
sentences. (3 members 30 sentences / 4 members 40 sentences)
3. Write your sentences in Hanyu Pinyin with tone plus English translation.
4. Submit your group first draft (handwritten) based on the deadline given by your lecturer.
5. Each group must consult the first draft before proceeding to the final script.
6. The final script can be handwritten or typed and must include a cover page. If your group
chooses to handwrite, then you need to scan the script and add the cover page. If your
group chooses to type, you can use this website https://pinyin.typeit.org/ to type Pinyin
with tone and copy it to your document and add the cover page.
7. Submit the final script together with the project video at Microsoft Teams>Assignment
before Friday, 24th February 2023 (Week 11) at 12.00pm.

PART II: CREATE PROJECT VIDEO


1. After your group has finished the script, record a short drama with group members.
1. Each member MUST show their face and dialogue with each other in the video.
2. Use appropriate props or background to describe all the sentences that all of you have
constructed in order to make the project video more interesting and personalized.
3. Use any mobile phone app to record and edit the video. Besides, you can use computer video
editing software/any online video editing website to edit your video as well.
4. Each group MUST add English translation in the project video. You are also encouraged
to include Pinyin with tone as the video subtitles. You can type your Pinyin with tone on
this website https://pinyin.typeit.org/ and copy it to your video.
5. The project video should not be less than 3 minutes.
6. Upload your group project video at Microsoft Teams > Assignment Friday, 24th February
2023 (Week 11) at 12.00pm.
