PRESENT SIMPLE

Presente simple
THE PRESENT SIMPLE IS A VERB TENSE THAT IS USED TO DESCRIBE HABITUAL

ACTIONS THAT HAPPEN WITH CERTAIN FREQUENCY AND DOES NOT MAKE REFERENCE

TO IF IT IS HAPPENING IN THE PRESENT MOMENT. TO CONJUGATE THE SIMPLE

PRESENT WE USE THE INFINITIVE FOR THE SUBJECTS "I", "YOU", "WE" AND "THEY" AND

FOR THE THIRD PERSONS "HE", "SHE" AND "IT" WE ADD THE FOLLOWING RULES

DEPENDING ON HOW THE VERB ENDS.

El Presente Simple es un tiempo verbal que se utiliza para describir

acciones habituales que suceden con cierta frecuencia y no hace referencia
a si está ocurriendo en el momento actual. Para conjugar el presente
simple usamos el infinitivo para los sujetos “I”, “you”, “we” y “they” y para las
terceras personas “he”, “she” y “it”, añadimos las siguientes reglas
dependiendo como termina el verbo.

REMEMBER THESE RULES ARE ONLY FOR 3RD PERSON (HE,SHE,IT)

1- If the verb ends in - "ss", "sh", "ch", "o" and "x" we add "ES" at the
end of the verb
si el verbo termina en -“ss”, “sh”, “ch”, “o” y “x” se le agrega “ES” al final del verbo

2- If the verb ends in - consonant + "y" we subtract the "y" and add
(IES) at the end of the verb
si el verbo termina en - consonante+“y” sustraemos la “y” y le aumentamos (IES) al final del verbo

3- We simply add ("S") if the verb does not fall into rule 1 or 2
si el verbo no cabe ni en la primera o segunda regla, solo le agregamos(“S”)
{exception to the rule for 3rd person with the verb (have) we will use (has)

DO OR DOES AT THE BEGINNING OF THE QUESTION. WE

USE (DO) IF THE SUBJECT IS I,YOU,WE,THEY OR YOU AND

WE USE (DOES) IF THE SUBJECT IS HE,SHE,IT.

Para hacer una pregunta en inglés normalmente usamos Do o Does

al principio de la pregunta. Usamos (Do) si el sujeto es I, you, we, they
o you y usamos (Does) si el sujeto es he, she, it

Example- Affirmative: you play soccer (Tú juegas futbol)

Question: do you play soccer? (¿juegas fútbol?)

THE SIMPLE PAST
EL PASADO SIMPLE

PAST SIMPLE IS A VERB TENSE THAT IS USED TO DESCRIBE ACTIONS THAT HAVE HAPPENED IN A

PREVIOUS TIME AND ARE FINISHED. IN THE PAST SIMPLE TENSE, WE NOW HAVE TO LEARN AND USE

TWO DIFFERENT TYPES OF VERB GROUPS, REGULAR VERBS AND IRREGULAR VERBS.

El Pasado Simple es un tiempo verbal que se usa para describir acciones que
han ocurrido en un tiempo anterior y que ya han terminado. En el tiempo verbal
de el pasado simple, ahora tenemos que aprender y usar dos tipos diferentes de
grupos de verbos, verbos regulares y verbos irregulares.

REGULAR VERBS USUALLY FORM THEIR PAST TENSE BY ADDING (D,ED,IED), DEPENDING UPON HOW

THE VERB IS SPELLED. IRREGULAR VERBS CHANGE THEIR FORM COMPLETELY FROM PRESENT TO PAST

TENSE. THERE IS NO RULE TO LEARNING IRREGULAR VERBS. WE CAN ONLY LEARN THEM WITH

PRACTICE.

Los verbos regulares generalmente forman su tiempo pasado agregando (d, ed,
ied), dependiendo de cómo se deletrea el verbo. Los verbos irregulares cambian
su forma completamente del presente al pasado. No hay una regla para aprender
verbos irregulares. Solo podemos aprenderlos con práctica.

FUTURE USING WILL

WE USE “WILL” TO SPEAK ABOUT THE FUTURE. “WILL” CAN BE USED IN SITUATIONS

THAT HAVE BEEN PLANNED, OR NOT BEEN PLANNED. ANOTHER WAY TO USE “WILL” IS

WHEN WE WANT TO MAKE PREDICTIONS OF SOMETHING THAT WE THINK WILL HAPPEN.

WE ALSO USE “WILL” WHEN WE MAKE SPONTANEOUS DECISIONS, AND WHEN WE

PROMISE OR OFFER TO DO SOMETHING. WHEN “WILL” IS USED IN THE NEGATIVE, IT

BECOMES “WILL NOT” OR “WON’T”.

Usamos "will" para hablar sobre el futuro. "Will" se puede usar en situaciones que
se han planificado o no se han planificado. Otra forma de usar "will" es cuando
queremos hacer predicciones de algo que creemos que sucederá. También
usamos "will" cuando tomamos decisiones espontáneas y cuando prometemos u
ofrecemos hacer algo. Cuando "will" se usa en negativo, se convierte en "will not" o
"won't".

Examples-

I will call the police.

(llamare a la policia.)

I think we will go.

(Creo que iremos.)

peolpe will live on the moon in 30 years.

(la gente vivira en la luna en 30 años.

I think i'm hungry...yah i will eat something.
