Attended meeting with DOLE on the Orientation on the Voluntary Code of Good Practices
(VCGP) for the employers in the hotel, resort and restaurant sectors of La Union. The VCGP
aims to promote and strengthen tripartite cooperation and promotion of industrial peace in the
region and at the same time to work with the private and labor sectors in
strengthening/enhancing labor management relations in the workplace.

Program partners for the implementation of VCGP are the Department of Labor & Employment,
Regional Tripartite Wages & Productivity Board, National Conciliation & Mediation Board,
Technical Education & Skills Development Authority, Local Tourism Council and the Department
of Health.

LUHRRA President, Mr. Ives C. Remondeulaz, of Thunderbird Resorts and other hotel & resorts
sectors in the province have already committed in the implementation of VCGP.

Recommend that Sea Park will be part of this program. For your approval, sir.
