REFLECTION

Starting with the induction set, demonstration of cleaning the dirty white napkin was
used by me. The demonstration is good and can give better visualisation to the students. But,
while doing the demonstration, I ask some questions related to my demonstration, but I did not
write in in my lesson plan. In addition, my demonstration takes too long time which exceeds 4
minutes.

For the development part, I have introduced the acronym first rather than explain the
Cleaning Steps in sequence properly. I think it is better to visualise the steps, so that the students
can see the cleaning agents (anion) works during the cleaning process. My suggestion is to play
the videos on YouTube about the cleaning process. I realise that when it goes to activity part,
some of the students cannot answer the cleaning steps in a full and correct sentence.

Next, for the HOTS questions, I only asked 4 out of 5 questions because running out of
time. For activity part, each representative cannot give their answer because running out of
time. I need to give some time for the students to answer because different students require
different time and variety answers which require the teacher to discuss it, rather than jump to
the next person.

For the closure part, I was too rushed and said ‘Okay class, we have come to the end of
the class’. I think I need to just continue to end the class properly even the time is running out
because students will feel weird and wondered. I did emphasize that the Cleaning Agent
Mechanism is frequently asked in examination.
