1. Who are the 21st century learners?


The 21st century learners are confident learners who are well equipped by innovative
technology while producing, synthesizing and evaluation information from a wide variety
of subjects and sources.

2. What are the characteristics of the 21st century learners?

a. Creativity and innovation – these aspects mean that students need to be capable of
developing creative solutions to the many problems and challenges that they may
face.
b. Collaboration and communication- the ability to communicate effectively and present
their ideas articulately through a range of oral, written, and non-verbal
communication
c. Critical Thinking and problem solving – to be able to adapt to any change, continue
perform at their potential and make connections between information, arguments,
interpret information to draw conclusions and reflect on experiences critically.
d. Technology literacy- learners need to know skills necessary to exceed in a
technology, rich environment, students need the ability to access information,
navigating and collect relevant information for each situation.
e. Global Citizens- allows students to efficiently learns from and work collaboratively
with different individuals of diverse cultures , religion, and lifestyle.
