Who can lodge a postal vote?

Postal vote
If you are entitled to vote at a Tasmanian election,
you may vote by postal vote if you:
» expect to be unable to attend a polling place
on polling day; or

application
» are a silent elector whose address is not shown
on the roll. Section 36(5).

How do I apply for a postal vote?


Complete and sign this form.
Return this form, so it can be received by
the returning officer before 4pm Friday,
eight days before polling day. Remember,
postal services can take a number of days.

The TEC will:
Process your application
Mail your postal ballot pack to you
The pack is made up of: ballot paper,
instructions, return envelopes

You will need to:

Complete your vote before 6pm on
polling day and Rumney
Send your vote back in the envelopes
