    BACKGROUND
     Provision of drinking water  basic needs and socioeconomic rights that must be met by the central
    and local governments.
     The availability of raw water for drinking water of the Balinese people is already included in the critical
    category.
     Problems in Bali: a) decreased groundwater level; b) underground seawater intrusion (exploration and
    excessive intake of groundwater); c) groundwater pollution; d) high conversion of green land
    functions.
     Efforts to solve the problem  Construction of Sidan Dam at Badung Regency, Bali as stated in National
    Strategic Projects.
     The implementation of projects to expand drinking water supply can be realized through private sector
    participation by taking into account the feasibility of the project (technical, financial & economic,
    institutional & environmental).
     PT TRGI has the initiation and ability to build drinking water infrastructure for the Ayung 1 SPAM
    Project (Sarbagita-Bali Province) with the Unsolicited PPP mechanism.
