Abstract:
CleanSweep - Automatic floor cleaner bot is a compact robotics system that makes tedious,
tiresome household works simpler and more automatic. The main objective of this robot is to
reduce human interaction in the cleaning process. The proposed system has a mopping section
and a vacuum section. The mopping section consists of a mop attached to the robot used for
cleaning the floor. It is attached to a small water container from which water is dipped in order to
make the mop wet. The vacuum section consists of a vacuum pump for sucking the dust particles
on the flexibility, time-saving and efficiency make the robot a clean choice for cleaning the
floor.

3. Motivation
Cleaning is an important task in approximately every place. Sometimes this is easy and
sometimes difficult. Sometimes we assign people for the purpose of cleaning and pay
them money and sometimes cleaning is required in areas where the presence of humans is
dangerous so we cannot assign people in every place. Some places are enormous and
have large floor areas hence for cleaning purposes, we need more than one person so we
require some techniques to compensate for these problems. Due to the advancement of
science, a robot comes in light but it operates by personnel. To avoid this limitation of
personnel we require more technologies. Automation is a great solution to this problem.
So we make an autonomous floor-cleaning robot that is operated by the internet of things
and Arduino Nano programming. The main motive of this project is to design and
implement a vacuum robot prototype by using Arduino Nano, to reduce human
interaction in the cleaning process. Vacuum Robot will have several criteria that are user-
friendly.
