Comments on Panel 1 of Intake and Undersluice (for rebar arrangement only):

1. Base bar not throughout the width?

2. Section A-A: It is recommended to extend the vertical bars or wall to the upper columns or the
column bars straight into the walls with sufficient lap length because it is most likely that the
forces from the columns are transferred to walls not to the slab.
3. Section B-B: If possible provide rings as like in the beam.
4. Section J-J: Distribution reinforcement throughout the top face of the slab.

5. Seciton D-D: to reduce the change of shear failure as section is immediately reduced, extra rebar
is recommended / or rearrangement of bars are recommended.
6. Plan: Flood wall and Intake junction: should beconnected and bars to be rearranged accordingly.

7. Section G-G: why no reinforcement?
