Steps for creating the scatterplot

With data in excel, the date column and column marked high was selected, including the

column headers. That was in column A and column C. The scatter symbol was chosen on the

Insert tab in the charts group, and then the scatter chart template was selected. The first

thumbnail was chosen to insert a classic scatter graph. A scatter chart then popped up on the

worksheet with already plotted data. After that, the graph’s elements were customized to make it

look more beautiful and vividly convey the correlation between the two variables, date and high

stock cost.
