Instrument Petting Zoo: March 25 from 5:00-7:00 PM

General Information
The event will take place in palm court. We have 4 mouthpiece cleaners so we will need to share. We
need at least one person per station at any given time. Instruments are being provided from the
techniques classes (with the exception of percussion and tuba). If you are working the first shift, pick up
your instrument, hand sanitizer, and a music stand from Presley in FEASEL (change from Tinsley) at
4:30. If you are working the registration table, bring a table, two chairs, and the forms from Feasel. If you
are working the last shift, bring all supplies back to Feasel around 7:05.

If you are working at a station, you will need to sign off on the students’ form after they attempt to make a
sound on the instrument or try out a vocal technique. Students need to try out three stations to receive
cultural credit (but can try out more WITH THE EXCEPTION OF REED INSTRUMENTS) for fun.
Encourage students to gain a variety of experiences through different stations and instrument families.

***Please note that Sounds New XXXI is at 7:30 PM which may affect participating people’s availability.

SAI will be participating as well.

Instructions
Please ensure that both shifts are covered before adding more people to the same shift. If
you want to participate but your instrument is full, you can add a column to add yourself to a
shift.
If you are the only Music Education Major who plays your instrument, I encourage you to reach
out to others who do to help out (Presley can help facilitate if this is your case).
