The removal sequence of instrument panel assembly components follows:

Before removing instrument panel assembly, remove left/right front door case sealing strips, left/right front
door running boards, and left/right “A” pillar upper/lower panel.
Note:
(1) Wear gloves to protect hands before removing and installing;
(2) Before removing and installing, be familiar with the structure of the part to be removed or installed to
avoid damage in the process;
(3) The tip of the flatheaded screwdriver must be wrapped with flexible tape to avoid damaging the product
surface;
(4) After installing, the fit clearance and surface difference of all parts should comply with the requirement
of appearance tolerance.
The removal and installation method of instrument panel assembly parts is described as below:

As shown in the figure above, compress the

buckle with a flatheaded screwdriver along the arrow
direction, pull down the buckle with hands to release
from the mounting hole, and remove three mounting
buckles in front in sequence to take out assistant
driver’s knee board;
When installing assistant driver’s knee board,
insert the two installation location points shown in
the figure into the mounting hole in air conditioner,
and then push in the buckle.

glove box assembly when all buckles are released.
When install glove box, align the locating point
shown in the figure, push in the buckle, tighten the
four screws, and finally install the left/right limit
blocks in the reverse order as installing.

4. Removing/installing left lower

Rotate the limit block

As shown in Fig. 1-1-3-1 above, the glove box

assembly has four screw mounting points, three
buckle mounting points (with pretightening force),
and five installation location points (without

When removing,
Step 1: Remove the left/right limit blocks of the
box first, as shown in Fig. 1, in order to increase box
opening angle and facilitate removing the two self-
taping screws;
Step 2: Remove the four screws shown in the figure
with cross screwdriver and 10# socket wrench;
Step 3: pry up the three buckle mounting points
connected to glove box assembly and instrument
panel from right to left with a flatheaded screwdriver
(note: when removing the third mounting point in the Move up the combination switch cover
left, please hold the upper edge of the glove box with to limit position, to provide operating
right hand and pry up the buckle with left hand with space for removing buckles around
a flatheaded screwdriver to avoid breaking the clamp

Pry up the two snap buttons shown in the figure
with a flatheaded screwdriver, pry up the clamp pin
between center left lower panel and lower body
along the gap, and take out the center left lower
panel when the clamp pin is released. The
installation sequence of center left lower panel is
reverse to removal.
The removal of center left lower panel is similar to
center left panel.
7. Removing/installing gearshift
cover plate component
▽ is buckle mounting point (four)

Pry up the buckle and clamp pin mounting points
shown in the figure with a flatheaded screwdriver,
and take out gearshift cover plate when all mounting
points are released.
When install gearshift cover plate component, align
the installation location points shown in the figure,
and push in the buckle and clamp pin.
8. Removing/installing cigar
lighter panel component

Before removing cigar lighter panel, remove the
gearshift cover plate first in accordance with section
8.7.
As shown in the figure, remove gearshift cover
plate, pull out the panel back from the bottom of the
cigar lighter panel, unplug the cigar lighter wire
when the two mounting points are released, and then
take out the cigar lighter panel.
9. Removing/installing lower
body component of the
instrument panel

As shown above, remove cigar lighter panel
component, gearshift cover plate component, lower
left panel component, assistant driver’s knee board
component, glove box assembly, center left lower
panel component and center right lower panel
component before removing the instrument panel
lower body component.
Remove the eight screws shown in the figure with a
cross screwdriver, pry up the two buckles (right
buckle doesn’t have practical effect) shown in the
figure with a flatheaded screwdriver, and take out
instrument panel lower body when all the mounting
points are released.
The installation of instrument panel lower body
component is reverse to removal.

Note:

Instrument panel body
Removing:
1. Remove gearshift cover plate component, cigar
lighter panel component, CD host and radio
assembly in sequence (see section 8.7, 8.8 and
electrical parts for instructions);
2. Then, remove the bolts of 7″ screen and air
conditioner control panel assembly and the two
buckles in the bottom, lift up the assembly
bottom (do not unplug wire connector), and raise Buckle mounting point
the center cover plate vent;
3. Unplug the raised vent buckle and clamp pin,
and then unplug remaining buckles and
mounting points in sequence. Lift the center
cover plate, unplug the connector of emergency
alarm switch, and then take out the instrument
panel center cover plate assembly.
Installation:
When installing center cover plate assembly,
align all mounting points and push in. Do not beat
the position near the vent, or else the vent roller may
fail.

Pry up the connections of combination instrument
cover panel and instrument panel upper body with a
flatheaded screwdriver: remove the four clamp pins
in the top, and then remove the two buckle mounting
points on the left and right; take out combination
instrument cover component when all the mounting
points are released.
The installation of combination instrument cover
component is reverse to removal: install the left and
right buckles, and push the four clamp pins into the
mounting hole.
12. Removing/installing
left/right center speaker cover
component

When removing, pry up the two buckle mounting
points of left speaker cover body with a flatheaded
screwdriver, and then take out left speaker cover
component.
When install left speaker cover, insert the two
installation location points in the front into
instrument panel mounting hole, and then push in the
two buckles in the rear.
The removal of right speaker cover component and
center speaker cover component is similar to left
speaker cover.
13. Removing/installing front
left/right defroster nozzle

Pry up the connection of left defroster nozzle and
instrument panel with a flatheaded screwdriver, and
take out left defroster nozzle when all buckles are
released. When install left defroster nozzle, align the
locating point shown in the figure, and then push in
the buckle.
The removal and installation of right defroster
nozzle are similar to left defroster nozzle.

15. Removing/installing left

Pry up the buckle mounting point of the front
left defroster nozzle with a flatheaded screwdriver,
and then take out the front left defroster nozzle.
When install right trim cover plate of digital
instrument, align the locating point shown in the
figure, and then push in the buckle.
The removal and installation of front right
defroster nozzle are similar to front left defroster
nozzle.

14. Removing/installing
left/right defroster nozzle

Removing:
1. First, refer to section 8.3 of the Maintenance
Manual (Removing/installing lower left panel
component) to remove the lower left panel
component;
2. Remove the bolts shown in the figure with a
socket wrench, push the two elastic mounting
buckles at the position of imaginary circle into
the square hole reserved in the nozzle (ensure
that buckle surface has been separated from
instrument panel body limit tendon), pry up the
connection between left nozzle assembly and
instrument panel upper body with a flatheaded
screwdriver, and take out the left nozzle
assembly when all buckles are released.
Installation:
When install left nozzle assembly, align the
buckle mounting point shown in the figure, and push
in the buckle (before installing, check the two swing
type elastic mounting buckles at the position of
imaginary circle, make sure that the buckles are
opened; if they are clamped in the square hole
reserved in air inlet vent body, pry to open with a
flatheaded screwdriver, and press the position of
imaginary circle after the assembly is installed to
ensure that the two pins clamp the instrument panel
limit tendon).
16. Removing/installing right
nozzle assembly

Removing:
1. First, refer to section 8.4 of the Maintenance
Manual (Removing/installing glove box
assembly) to remove the glove box assembly;
2. Push the two elastic mounting buckles at the
position of imaginary circle into the square hole
reserved in the nozzle (ensure that buckle surface has
been separated from instrument panel body limit
tendon), pry up the connection between right nozzle
assembly and instrument panel upper body with a
flatheaded screwdriver, and take out the right nozzle
assembly when all buckles are released.
Installation:
When install right nozzle assembly, align the buckle
mounting point shown in the figure, and push in the
buckle (before installing, check the two swing type
elastic mounting buckles at the position of imaginary
circle, make sure that the buckles are opened; if they
are clamped in the square hole reserved in air inlet
vent body, pry to open with a flatheaded screwdriver,
and press the position of imaginary circle after the
assembly is installed to ensure that the two pins
clamp the instrument panel limit tendon).
17. Removing/installing upper
body component of the
instrument panel
Note:
If illumination sensor is installed, the respective wire

connector should be disconnected; if assistant
driver’s airbag is installed, the mounting bolt of
airbag and tubular beam should be removed, and the
respective wire connector should be disconnected.
Note:
(1) The personnel must be clear of the product
structure before removing to avoid accidents;
(2) The tip of the flatheaded screwdriver must be
wrapped with flexible tape to avoid damaging the
product surface;
(3) Before removing, please make sure that all
instrument panel wires have been disconnected.
Removing:
1. First, remove lower left panel component, lower
right knee board component, glove box assembly,
center left/right lower panel component, cigar lighter
panel component, gearshift cover plate component
and instrument panel lower body component in
sequence (refer to removal instructions above);

18. Removing/installing tubular beam assembly

2. Then, remove the 7″ screen and air conditioner
control panel assembly, DVD&GPS host and radio
assembly and combination instrument, and
disconnect respective connector, and remove
assistant driver’s airbag mounting bolts (see removal
instructions of electrical part).
3. Remove the four mounting bolts and two
mounting nuts shown in the figure (Fig. 17) with 10#
socket wrench, and take out the instrument panel
upper body component from the vehicle.
Installation:
Insert the three clamp pins in front of the instrument
panel upper body component into the three clamp pin
mounting holes, and then tighten all fastening points
according to step 3.

(1) The personnel must be clear of the product structure before removing to avoid accidents;
(2) Before removing, please make sure that all tubular beam wires have been disconnected.

Removing:
1. Remove the instrument panel upper body component first (refer to section 8.17);
2. Then, remove the fastening points of steering column, clutch pedal (MT) and brake pedal on tubular pedal
(refer to removal instructions of chassis part);
3. Disconnect all electrical connectors, and remove the fastening points of respective air conditioner cabinet
(refer to removal method of electrical part);
4. Remove the ten bolts and one nut shown in the figure with a socket wrench, and then remove the tubular
beam assembly from the vehicle.

Installation:
Lift the tubular assembly into the cab and hang on the pin, and tighten all fastening points according to step 3.
(Pay attention to the requirement on tightening torque of each fixed position)
