Section 5: Installation and Removal of Rear Bumper

1. Removing the rear bumper To remove the bracket, unscrew the screw at position
D.

Remove the rear bumper as shown in the
picture
1. Remove the four nuts at position A with 8# socket
wrench in the luggage compartment, and take out the
four bolts after the rear bumper is removed;
2. Remove the two snap buttons at position B of rear
bumper hinge with a flatheaded screwdriver;
3. Remove the two bolts at position C respectively
with a cross screwdriver
4. Remove the screw at position E and the two self-
taping screws at position D of the bottom connected
to the mudguard with a cross screwdriver.
5. Remove the bumper in the arrow direction shown
in the picture. Before removing the bumper, remove
the patch cord of the rear fog lamp first (remove the
patch cord of back-up radar for higher configuration)
to avoid damage.
2 Installing the rear bumper
Install in the reverse order of removal
1. Install the left and right front/rear brackets of
the rear bumper first, and then tighten the
screws (ten) at position D;
2. Install the bolt A at rear wall on the rear
bumper;
3. Lift the rear bumper, and align the four
mounting bolts to the rear wall of the body;
4. Push the rear bumper flange forward on both
sides, compress the rear wall of the rear
bumper, install the small bracket in place, push
forward the rear bumper flange in sequence
until the flange is installed in the clip of the rear
bumper bracket, and then install the nut at

position A.
5. Install the two bolts at position C and the two
self-taping screws at position E that connects to
mudguard;
6. Make sure that the rear mudguard is in the
flange of the rear bumper, and tighten the
screws (two) at position D;
7. Install the snap button (two) at position B.

Please note the following:

1. Make sure that the hook of bumper and rear
bumper bracket and the body sheet metal on both
sides are connected reliably, and the rear fog lamp
has been installed on the rear bumper.
2. Connect the patch cord of the rear fog lamp first
when install the rear bumper.
3. For rear bumper of high configuration, install the
back-up radar and fog lamp first, and connect the
patch cord of the back-up radar.

4. Replace the damaged fasteners.

5. Apply appropriate force for installation and

removal, avoid deforming the rear bumper, and do
not scratch the rear bumper and body.
6. When pry with flatheaded screwdriver, wrap the
screwdriver with protective tape to avoid damage.
7. Wear gloves to protect your hands.
8. The installation and removal of rear bumper
require an assistant.
