practice. My dental hygiene education and clinic practice has well prepared
me for this position.

I expect to graduate in May 2023 from Lansing community college with my

Associates of applied science Degree in Dental Hygiene. The program is
CODA accredited and has prepared me as a student with clinical hands-on
dental hygiene training. This is a full service clinic with clinical Dentists and
offers services to the surrounding community. We treat people of all ages
including those of special needs. Under the correct supervision in my final
semester of Dental Hygiene school I provide the following services:

● Updating and recording medical histories, assessing dental

hygiene and medication lists.
● Assessing needs, and developing treatment plans.
● Cleaning teeth and beneath gum margins, removing hard and
soft deposits from teeth, polishing and flossing teeth.
● Examining gums for recession, sores, and signs of possible
gum disease.
● Screening for oral cancer.
● Taking digital radiographs.
● Applying fluorides & sealants.
● Educating patients on oral hygiene and providing preventative
dental care.
● Providing comprehensive charting.
● Assisting dentists during exams.
● Familiar with Eaglesoft software.
