Day 1:

Today, my team and I played the ERPSIM game, a simulation that allows us to learn
about enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. We spent most of the day learning
the rules of the game and understanding the various modules of the ERP system.

We started by creating our team structure, assigning roles, and deciding on a

strategy for the game. As the team leader, I emphasized the importance of
collaboration and communication to ensure that we work effectively together.

Day 2:

Today, we focused on the purchasing module of the ERP system. We learned about
the various functions of the module, including creating purchase orders, managing
inventory, and tracking shipments.

We encountered several challenges during the game, such as unexpected delays in

shipments and fluctuating prices of raw materials. We had to quickly adapt to these
challenges and make decisions that would minimize the impact on our company's
operations.

Day 3:

Today, we worked on the production module of the ERP system. We learned about
the various processes involved in production planning, scheduling, and execution.

We encountered some difficulties with production scheduling, as we had to balance

the demand for our products with the availability of raw materials and production
capacity. We had to make some tough decisions and adjust our production
schedules to meet our customers' demands.

Day 4:

Today, we focused on the sales module of the ERP system. We learned about the
various functions of the module, including order processing, invoicing, and customer
relationship management.

We encountered some challenges in the sales module, such as late deliveries and
customer complaints. We had to work quickly to address these issues and ensure
that our customers were satisfied with our products and services.

Day 5:
Today was the final day of the game. We spent the day reviewing our performance
and discussing what we learned from the experience. We analyzed our results and
identified areas where we could improve our performance in the future.

Overall, playing the ERPSIM game was a valuable learning experience. We gained a
deeper understanding of ERP systems and how they can be used to manage various
business processes. We also learned about the importance of collaboration,
communication, and decision-making in a team setting.
