It is with pleasure that I write this recommendation letter for Sevastia

Moundros. She has been a staff member at our childcare facility for 9 years.

Sevastia reached out to us in 2013 as a 16-year-old high school student

offering to volunteer in any way for 30 hours of community service for school
credit. We welcomed her. She volunteered 3 days a week after school from 3
pm to 6 pm, helping our after-schoolers aged 6-12 with their homework,
helping serve snacks, and cleaning up. Well, 30 hours turned into 2 years of
volunteering.

I have had the pleasure of seeing her grow from a high school student into a
mature young woman. In November 2015 when she turned 18 we officially
hired her as a childcare assistant. Her duties include supervising toddlers,
planning curriculum and monthly themes, organizing and carrying out
activities, and training new employees. She is CPR and First Aid certified and
she has acquired a number of certificates in various childcare training courses.

Over the years Sevastia has expressed an interest in our students with special
needs and autism, paying special attention to their needs, and promoting their
growth and development. Sevastia goes above and beyond with a passion for
nurturing, caring, and instilling confidence in all children. The children love
and adore her.

Sevastia has developed respectful relationships with the parents and

communicates with them daily about their children’s care.

I have total confidence in her judgment. She is a responsible and reliable

person and a true asset to the children and the families we serve.
