Ableton Link

-when linking, slave devices can’t affect global bpm, or global transport play/stop
buttons. If device isn’t a slave, it can affect the bpm.
-works on a shared network. If devices are on the same network, it’ll be able to
link
-ableton link is just to sync the timing of all the devices
-get linkkit from ableton

To set up on ableton
-go to preferences - link tab
-turn on ‘play in time with link’
-top left button will be turned on link

To set up on other device

-go to app settings and turn on link
-make sure this device is on the same WiFi network. Won’t work without being in
the same network. Can create a hotspot on your phone if you like and that will
work too.
-can only use one linked app at a time
