-key splits: on the instrument rack, click key, then move colored bar over to the area you want it to stay within. Use this for both instruments. -you can overlap the two instruments by overlapping them within the key split editor. Then use the bar zone graph to blend the two sounds together if you want them to blend. -velocity zone editor: use this to edit what triggers based on how hard you hit. Drag the bar on each instrument to choose the velocity you want each instrument to trigger at. -chain zone editor: use this to route signal into a device chain. Grab the bar graph, set it to a value (set this to values you can map onto a midi controller), right click and hit “set all values equal”. Now midi map to those parameters. -audio effect rack only has the option to use a chain editor.
