IV. Paper Assessment

Introduction. On a separate sheet of paper. Answer the following questions with at least 3-5
sentences.

1. Differentiate the warm-up phase and cool-down phase of an exercise/workout program?

- A warm-up consists of preparatory activities and functionally based movements that are
specifically designed to prepare the body for exercise or sport. Warm-up increases core
temperature, and temperature of muscles, tendons, and ligaments, improving and
facilitating proper range of motions. Warm-up will help me perform better and will
decrease aches and pains. While Cool-down it is allows our body to cooldown its
temperature, and also allows the heart to recover to its normal pulse rate. It also assures
that venous return to the heart is maintained in the face of significant amounts of blood
going to the previously working muscles.

2. Which of the 5 Conditioning training works best for you? Why?

- For me the best conditioning training works is Agility training because it is very easy to
me. This is also the conditioning training I used in the video I made. I think this is the
best conditioning training for me because my body is better able to do Agility training. I
really like it because I exercise more all my body from head to toe.
