Dear Mom and Dad

I’m having a great time here in New York City! Yesterday, we (1) went (go) to
Ellis Island. We (2) took (take) a ferry to the island in New York Harbor. Mr. King
(3) came (come) with us.
The island and the museum were both really interesting. A lot of immigrants to the U.S.
(4) sailed (sail) here from other countries and (5) arrived (arrive)
at Ellis Island to begin their new lives. We (6) walked (walk) around the island,
and (7) had (have) a picnic by the water. Ricardo got mad because Adam
(8) lost (lose) his camera, but later he (9) said (say) it was a
joke. Ricardo (10) didn´t (not find) it funny.
Lots of love,
Marisa
