Affirmative structure:
subject + verb in past+ complement

subject + did not / didn't + verb (forma original) + complement

Questions structure:
did + subject + verb (forma original) + complement ?

Did you have dinner last night?

IN PAST
Recordemos que el verbo to be significa ser o estar. En
pasado se conjuga así:

I WAS YO ERA/ESTABA
YOU WERE TÚ ERES/ESTABAS
HE WAS ÉL ERA/ESTABA
SHE WAS ELLA ERA/ESTABA
IT WAS ESO ERA/ESTABA
WE WERE NOSOTROS ÉRAMOS/ESTÁBAMOS
THEY WERE ELLOS ERAN/ESTABAN

Examples:

I was relaxed yesterday.

When I was 5 years old I lived in another city.
My trip to the beach was amazing.
My parents were at the restaurant last night.
