    Matrix Structure

    Matrix structure is more of a grid rather than the one we are familiar with, the vertical
    hierarchy. Employees that are part of the Matrix Organization Structure, should report to both
    their respective Project Manager and the Functional Manager.

    As you can see on our powerpoint presentation, this is how a matrix organizational structure
    looks like. For example, employee number 1 should report to the Director of Marketing and the
    Director for Product A. To conclude, In matrix Organizations, employees must report to more
    than one person.
