WOPIC REPORT
January 2020 – December 2022
I. Introduction
The Northern Vicariate of the Diocese of Negros Occidental composed of 16 Parishes and Mission
namely:
The Northern Vicariate has 68 outstations documented and 457 Registered WOPIC members.
Out of 16 Parishes and Mission 11 attended the 1st Diocesan WOPIC Camp
Spearheaded in almost significant activities of the Church
Community Pantry, Food Pantry and feeding program during pandemic.
Facilitate activities during harvest festival celebration every year
Extend relief goods to the victims of flood in the Parish of Daan Banwa, Victorias and
Typhoon Odette in the South.
Implement WOPIC CARE program
WOPIC Sunday during Laity month
Gift giving to the least fortunate member of the church on Christmas Day
V. PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED:
1. No formal meetings conducted.
2. No Plans and Programs Lay out.
3. Hard to gather members.
4. No follow up education as to stewardship and organization.
5. Lack of registered members participation.
6. No quorum during meetings.
7. Programs and Plans was not fully implemented.
8. Some members are not active in church activities.
9. There are few young adults who are not willing to become a member of the organization.
10. There are members who are lazy to attend the meetings and activities and some are old and
sickly.
11. Un able to participate in some Diocesan programs and activities due to financial constraints
especially the Mission church.
VI. RECOMMENDATIONS
1. Make a Plan of Activities that encourage the members to participate actively in the organization.
2. Highly requesting the Class A and B Parishes to give financial Assistance to the Mission church for
them to attend the out of town meetings.
3. Continue Campaign and encourage all WOPIC to register in the organization.
4. Invite the Diocesan officer to conduct wopic orientation in the Parishes and Mission.
