Start school in the fall Camila's mom has been working so
much that she hasn't had much
time to check in on her progress.
Her mom teared up because during
our meeting because she was so
grateful that her daughter found
something that she is passionate
about. Camila was so excited that
her mom was proud of her.

This assignment really inspired me to see how

college and career planning can get students
excited about their future at any age. Since our
initial meeting, Camila has set up a meeting to
shadow a cosmetology professional. She has also
raised two of her failing grades to passing grades.
