Groupthink

When you know about a brand that is famous all over the world and your group members are

talking about their products and telling each other about the positive aspects related to the brand,

you don't like that brand. You will keep your mouth shut and will not talk about the negative

aspects or negativity about the brand. It’s called conformity. When conformity within the group

leads to risky outcomes, it’s called groupthink.

Symptoms of the groupthink concept

Cross-cultural communication

Cross-cultural communication is the concept that seems at the behavior of people and how

people from differing cultural backgrounds communicate in different as well as similar ways

among themselves and how they attempt to communicate across cultures. In simple words, it is
the concept of how people communicate with others, their behavior and attitude of them while

having communication, and how people communicate with each other verbally or non-verbally.

Cross-cultural differences

Cross-cultural differences are the concept relating the differences in the family make-up as well

as a structure made on the cultural ethnicities and backgrounds. The cause for the family make-

up can include family pressure, cultural heritage, or religious background.

 Collectivism vs. Individualism

 Orientation of the time

 Uncertainty Avoidance

 Assertiveness

 Gender Egalitarianism

 Humane Orientation
