Summary
FactoryTalk View software opens in Demo Mode
Problem
My FactoryTalk View software is running in Demo mode, although I have available activations.
It has been noticed that although there are available activations they may not be in use.

show up as 1 in the In Use column in the FactoryTalk Activation Manager.
When opening FactoryTalk View Studio for Machine Edition, the software opens in Demo mode. Activation

Solution
Solution 1
Restart the computer after the activation file has been hosted/installed.
Solution 2
FactoryTalk View Studio ME requires FactoryTalk Activation Manager at the same or higher Coordinated
Product Release (CPR) and Service Release (SR) levels.
For example, FactoryTalk View ME version 8.00 (CPR 9 SR 7) can use FactoryTalk Activation Manager version
4.02 (CPR 9 SR 10), but FactoryTalk View ME version 10.01 (CPR 9 SR 10) cannot use FactoryTalk Activation

1. Delete the .RNL files as indicated in
FactoryTalk: Deleting the RNL Files.
2. Reboot the PC.

2. Repair FactoryTalk Activations Manager.

1. Make sure that your computer has access to the install files for the software being
repaired.
2. Left click Start-->Control Panel-->Programs and Features.
3. Then right click on the software to be repaired and select Change-->Repair.

Lastly, if all the above fails perform the following:
1. Disable your Antivirus and Firewalls.
