I would like to take this time to thank you for reading my letter and considering me as a
Electrical Engineer candidate. It is my hope that a placement with your company will be mutually
beneficial. I learned about this opportunity through a job posting on the Monster website.

My strong suits are completing projects both quickly and efficiently with a close eye to detail. I
am able to continue to grow in my abilities to problem solve and work well with others through
my time on the robotics team. In this positive, I would like to expand my knowledge of working
on systems for the Department of Defense. A co-op placement like this will allow me to bring
much to the table as doing something that is engineering based gives me great joy and would
motivate me to show up to work every day excited to take on new challenges.

My high school experience includes involvement at Oakland Schools Technical Campus for
engineering, robotics, and mechatronics. Going to OSTC has allowed me to learn many useful
tools and skills, including: PLC Programming, Electrical Systems, CAD, and Logic Control
Systems. Each will be relevant to my future position.

I hope to continue my desire for electrical engineering outside the classroom in a


work environment such as the DCS Corporation. I would appreciate the opportunity for an
