It was created by virtue of President Ferdinand Marcos’ Presidential Proclamation No. 1173, which declares the period between November 26 and December 12 every year as National Week for Young Artists. 2. The NAMCYA seeks to encourage young artists who excel in music composition and performance to preserve, develop, and promote Philippine music as an art and a handmaid of cultural development. The project aims to discover young artists in the field of choral singing, piano, chamber music, family ensemble, and indigenous instruments. 3. In preparation for this years presentation, the two participating schools (Antonio Pendatun ES & Upper Labay HS Music Ensemble and Fataldao, Banisil Colot IPEd Implementing Schools) shall start practicing every Saturday and Sunday together with their coaches and trainers for the coming activity on May 5-9, 2023 at the Rizal Park Open Air Auditorium, Manila. 4. This face- to- face activity shall adhere to minimum health protocols as prescribed by the IATF/ RIATF. o All participants are enjoined to strictly follow the health and safety protocols and observe physical distancing in the entire conduct of the convergence. 6. Travelling expenses of the performers, coaches/trainers meals and snacks, costumes and attires related to the conduct of this activity shall be charged against local/canteen funds or other available funds of the schools, subject to usual accounting and auditing procedures. 7.
