There are different types of blog and personally, I choose a travel blog

posted by Christian Lucas Sangoyo, the person behind the Lakad Pilipinas
website. It was posted last October 21, 2022. His blog is about travel guide of
province of Tarlac, located at Central Luzon. He focuses on the tourists spots
that you may find in the said province. Also the hotels that you may stay in if
you go there. In addition, he discussed the dialect used by Tarlaquenos.
Furthermore, he also share the festivals that is celebrated there and as well
the other places that you can visit after your vacation in Tarlac. Overall, his
posted blog was very in-formative, interesting, creative, eye catching and a
very helpful guide that you can use if you have a plan to visit the province of
Tarlac. As I proceed, let me also one by one the basics in writing a blog post.

As I searched the author of the website “Lakad Pilipinas” which is

Christian Lucas Sangoyo, it says that traveling is a hobby that builds on him
after spending his life in smoky metro. Traveling have been part of his
interests and as well discovering more about all regular metros and also those
not-so-regular places. The number one in basics in writing is all about
choosing a specific topic that is in line with your interests. The author of the
said website has the interest in traveling which are the contents of the website
he owned. His chosen topic is interesting because the place that he used as a
topic is a place that isn't that known when it comes in tourism. Since he wants
to take his readers not only in those familiar places, he also wants to discover
more about unfamiliar places here in the Philippines. In the continuation of his
web post, the second basics focuses on making an outline about the
information that you will include in your post. From my own perspective, I think
he make an outline for him not to be confused of those things that he need to
give focus on his post. Based on my own experience, for me it is much more
easy to write if you have first your outline. Because for me it is my guide on
what point I will tackle first, what things I need to include and specially so that
I will not forget of those things that is literally needed in your post. Making an
outline is just like giving yourself a guide for you to have an easy time in
writing. Although not all the writers are using an outline but it is just my own
opinion because it is all about travelling, tourist spots, places to stay in and
more that he particularly included in his blog post that I’ve choose. Moreover,
the third one is all about the headline of the blog. His title on this post was
“Tarlac Travel Guide | Itinerary + Map". As a reader, it is simple, and yes, it is
informative. But to be honest, it isn't a captivating title. Maybe he need to use
other phrases or words that will gonna be an eye catching to those people
that is finding a blog post that might help them in their vacation trip. Having an
captivating headline or title in your post is significant because you are also
promoting those places as well the tourism that is on your chosen place. If
you have an eye catching title, you'll gain more readers and more people will
encourage their family, friends, relative or any loved ones to try the places or
things that your promoting. Moreover, it can also help you to boost your page,
websites or any other platforms that you're using in advertising such topic,
places, things or whatsoever.
In continuation of the blog post that you are writing, the fourth basics in
writing is conducting a research to check the facts and attain accuracy data
based on the outline your crafted. In this portion it gives focus on those things
or data that you'll be sharing or including in your work. In travel blog, you can't
make any travel blog if you don't go or visit that specific place. Because if you
say “travel" it includes knowing the culture, beliefs, dialects, traditions and
many more. You can't share those information if you don't do a fact check and
gaining accurate data from your chosen place. Blog post is a type of literature
that you need to publish. That is why you need to include fact and accurate
information. Because if you just put all the things you want, or even those
things that you just see without checking it if it's correct. There is a big
possibility that your reader will believe on what you've written in your post.
After they believe on what they read, they will just mimic it. And the author of
this blog post, I know that he do the fourth basics in writing because he even
include information that is important for those people that is planning to visit
the province of Tarlac. He tackle there the festivals, tourist spots that you can
go while you're there, the places that you can stay in and specially the dialect
that Tarlaquenos used.

In writing such literature, you will also consider the way and techniques
that you'll use when you already want it to post. In this step, you will not only
spend your time in writing but also you need to think where you will gonna
post or publish it. Specially in this generation, there are different places you
can publish your work. Either Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, making
your own website just like the owner of the website “Lakad Pilipinas", and etc.
However, before you published it you still need to consider some properties of
a well- written text. Such us organization, in organization you can also include
the coherence and cohesion, language used and the mechanics that needed
to be consider. Because those are the things that some people consider first
when it comes in searching a better work that is published in any platforms.
Moreover, in this stage the next step should also be consider. Using images
to enhance your post, to improve its flow, add humor, and to explain complex
topics. Because we have different level of understanding. And we all know
that there are people that can easily to understand if there is image that they
can see or used to analyze the things that he/she wants to know. In addition,
if your blog post or any post has an image there are more chances to
captivate a readers. Because sometimes good photograph can be an eye
catching part. Specially when it comes to those people who are lazy in
reading. Also there are people that you can't easily persuade if you don’t have
evidence to show, such us showing images. And in this blog post he literally
include images, not only a simple, natural images but a beautiful and
captivating pictures. He uses his talent in photography and include it in his
blog post. It is his advantage to other writers because there are writers that
can't take a good photo and just borrow photos from other platforms.

This is not only his first blog post and I know that this step, he always
apply it on his self and for the improvement of his works. I've check some of
his works and he really do his work to help his readers. For them to be easy
when they needed important information about specific place that they are
planning to visit. As his reader, I can literally say that his work always have an
improvement and the author always thinks his readers.

Out of the seven (7) basics in writing a blog post, only the third one he
didn't satisfy me. But overall it is very interesting, informative, captivating, and
specially it is very helpful for the readers. Here you can see the significance of
every basics in writing. Even just one inaccurate elements you will used, it can
already destroy your work. But I am still grateful that I've been on his page
and now I know where to find if I need some guide if someday I'll visit some
places that I want to travel here in the Philippines. This kind of writers is worth
spending time because it can really help you when it comes with your
vacations. It can be your tourist guide even it is just a website. Because if one
day I go there, I already know where are the hotels, what are the things or
activities I can do there, what to do each day. Because he included in one by
one in his work and that is the thing that really amaze me.
