The plain of Pontarlier is located 60km south of Besançon (city in eastern France,
near the Swiss border). It extends over an area of approximately 25 km 2, bounded by two
rivers: the Drugeon to the west and the Doubs to the east. Both rivers flow northward.
The plain contains an unconfined alluvial aquifer.

It is requested to establish:
- The piezometric map during middle water period.
- The map of drawdown of the water table between the periods of high water and low water.
