Speaking and Presentation

We cannot evoke the true spirit of sacrifice
and valor, so long as we are not free. I
know the British Government will not be
able to withhold freedom from us, when we
have made enough self-sacrifice. We must,
therefore, purge ourselves of hatred.
Speaking for myself, I can say that I have
never felt any hatred.
• “I Am Prepared to Die”
(20 April 1964)
During my lifetime I have dedicated myself to this
struggle of the African people. I have fought against
white domination, and I have fought against black
domination. I have cherished the ideal of a
democratic and free society in which all persons
live together in harmony and with equal
opportunities. It is an ideal which I hope to live for
and to achieve. But if needs be, it is an ideal for
which I am prepared to die.
Martin Luther King Jr.
I have a dream that one day this nation
will rise up and live out the true
meaning of its creed: “We hold these
truths to be self‐evident, that all men
are created equal.”

I have a dream that my four little

children will one day live in a nation
where they will not be judged by the
color of their skin but by the content of
their character
(I Have A Dream August 28, 1963)
Adolf Hitler
Above all, German culture...is German and not
Jewish, and therefore its management and care
will be entrusted to members of our own
nation…Europe cannot settle down until the
Jewish question is cleared up.
…We must once and for all get rid of the opinion
that the Jewish race was only created by God for
the purpose of being in a certain percentage a
parasite living on the body and the productive
work of other nations.
Today I will once more be a prophet: If the
international Jewish financiers in and outside
Europe should succeed in plunging the nations
once more into a world war, then the result will
not be the Bolshevization of the earth, and thus
the victory of Jewry, but the annihilation of the
Jewish race in Europe.
