HEALING CRUSADE – ALL THE MIRACLES OF JESUS 05/28/2017

You received an invitation today for a healing crusade

That means we are going to pray for people that have
injuries(lesions) or illnesses(enfermedades) and God is
going to help them
I want to make a few points from the scripture this
afternoon to stir(despertar) our faith

I. God absolutely cares about us

A. Good thoughts
Ps 40:5 Many, O Lord my God, are Your wonderful works
Which You have done; And Your thoughts toward us
Cannot be recounted to You in order; If I would declare
and speak of them, They are more than can be
numbered.

Oh Señor mi Dios, has realizado muchas maravillas a
nuestro favor. Son tantos tus planes para nosotros que
resulta imposible enumerarlos. No hay nadie como tú. Si
tratara de mencionar todas tus obras maravillosas, no
terminaría jamás.

1. He is desiring the best for us

a) As a caring Father that is interested in
the path we choose in life
b) He feels our hurts
(1) He is disappointed(decepcionado)
in our failures
c) He always wants the best for us

2. Even in our failures, He wants to help us

and bring change and deliverance(liberación)
B. Jesus mission statement
Luke 4:18 "… He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent
Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery
of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed
Lucas 4:18 "... Él me ha ungido para predicar el evangelio a los pobres; Él me ha
enviado para sanar a los quebrantados de corazón, para proclamar la libertad a
los cautivos y la recuperación de la vista a los ciegos, para poner en libertad a los
oprimidos.

1. His whole reason from coming to earth

was to bring deliverance to mankind

a) Sometimes things just happen, we are

victims of our environment

b) But we usually dig holes for ourselves:

(1) Poverty
(2) Depression
(3) Captivity
(4) Lack of vision

c) Because He loves us
3:16-17 Porque de tal manera amó Dios al mundo, que ha dado
a su Hijo unigénito, para que todo aquel que en él cree, no se
pierda, mas tenga vida eterna. 17 Porque Dios no envió a su
Hijo al mundo para condenar al mundo, sino para que el mundo
por medio de Él fuera salvo.
(1) If you are on this planet, that means
that Jesus loves you
(2) Doesn’t matter what you’ve done
(3) We don’t earn his love – He
automatically loves us
(a) While we were yet sinners
Christ died for us

2. The leper’s statement

Mateo 8:2... Y he aquí, un leproso vino y lo adoró,
diciendo: "Señor, si quieres, puedes limpiarme".

Isn’t that a question we all have?

(1) Would God be willing to heal me?
(a) I don’t deserve it, I’m not good
enough
(b) You don’t know what I’ve
done

b) But watch Jesus’ response:

3 Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, "I
am willing; be cleansed." Immediately his leprosy was
cleansed.
(1) He touched him
(a) Leprosy is a
disgusting(repugnante) disease that
wastes (consume) away your body
(i) It is contagious
(b) But God cares about the
individual
(i) He personally touches us

(2) Here is what He said, “I am

willing”
(a) If He cares about us, why
wouldn’t He want to help us?
(b) Too busy for me, I’m not
important enough
(i) If you were the only one
left on the planet, He would
have died for you

3. He went all over Israel healing people

Hechos 10:38 cómo Dios ungió a Jesús de Nazaret con el
Espíritu Santo y con poder, que anduvo haciendo el bien y
sanando a todos los que estaban oprimidos por el diablo,
porque Dios estaba con Él.

II. Consider His power

A. He spoke the world into existence
1. In the beginning God spoke
Gen 1:3 Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there
was light.

a) Let there be vegetation, fish in the sea,

birds in the air, animals, etc.
b) Whether your believe in the big bang or
intelligent design
(1) Something came out of nothing
(2) It is more logical that someone
created it

2. It was by the power of Jesus Christ the

son of the living God
Juan 1:1-3 En el principio era el Verbo, y el Verbo estaba
con Dios, y el Verbo era Dios. 2 Él estaba en el principio

B. Some of His miracles:

1. Two blind men receive their sight
Marcos 10:46-52 Vinieron a Jericó. Cuando salió de Jericó
con sus discípulos y una gran multitud, el ciego Bartimeo,
el hijo de Timeo, se sentó junto al camino mendigando.
47 Y cuando oyó que era Jesús de Nazaret, comenzó a
clamar y a decir: «¡Jesús, Hijo de David, ten piedad de
mí!» 48 Entonces muchos le advirtieron que se callara;
pero él gritó aún más: "¡Hijo de David, ten piedad de mí!"
49 Entonces Jesús se detuvo y le mandó que fuera
llamado. Entonces llamaron al ciego y le dijeron: "Sé de
buen ánimo. Levántate, Él te está llamando". 50 Y
dejando a un lado su manto, se levantó y vino a Jesús. 51
Entonces Jesús respondió y le dijo: "¿Qué quieres que
haga por ti?" El ciego le dijo: "Rabboni, para que pueda
recibir mi vista".
52 Entonces Jesús le dijo: «Sigue tu camino; tu fe te ha
sanado". E inmediatamente recibió su vista y siguió a
Jesús por el camino.
2. 10 Lepers
Lucas 17:11-14 Y aconteció que mientras iba a Jerusalén
pasó por medio de Samaria y Galilea. 12 Entonces, al
entrar en cierta aldea, se encontraron con diez hombres

que eran leprosos, que estaban lejos. 13 Y alzaron sus

voces y dijeron: «¡Jesús, Maestro, ten piedad de
nosotros!» 14 Así que cuando los vio, les dijo: «Id,
muéstrense a los sacerdotes». Y así fue que a medida
que avanzaban, fueron limpiados.
a) He gave them instruction
(1) You show yourself to the priest
(pastor) when you are healed
(a) And he lets you back into
society

(2) They were not immediately healed

as others were
(a) But they acted on their in faith

3. Boy with Epilepsy

Mateo 17:14 Y cuando llegaron a la multitud, un hombre
vino a Él, arrodillándose ante Él y diciendo: 15 «Señor,
ten piedad de mi hijo, porque es epiléptico y sufre
severamente; porque a menudo cae en el fuego y a
menudo en el agua. 18 Y Jesús reprendió al demonio, y
salió de él; Y el niño se curó desde esa misma hora.

4. Deaf man
Marcos 7:32 Entonces le trajeron a uno que era sordo y
tenía un impedimento en su habla, y le rogaron que
pusiera su mano sobre él. 33 Y lo apartó de la multitud, y
puso sus dedos en sus oídos, y escupió y tocó su lengua.
34 Entonces, mirando al cielo, suspiró y le dijo: «Effatá»,
es decir, «Ábrete».
35 Inmediatamente se le abrieron los oídos, y se desató
el impedimento de su lengua, y habló claramente.
5. Peter’s mother in law - fever
Lucas 4:38 Ahora se levantó de la sinagoga y entró en la
casa de Simón. Pero la madre de la esposa de Simón
estaba enferma con fiebre alta, y le pidieron que la
pidiera. 39 Entonces se paró sobre ella y reprendió la
fiebre, y ésta la dejó. E inmediatamente se levantó y les
sirvió.
a) You don’t rebuke inanimate objects
(1) There was a personality behind that
fever
(2) He dealt with the demon and she
was healed

6. So many other things He did

Juan 21:25 Y también hay muchas otras cosas que Jesús
hizo, que si fueran escritas una por una, supongo que
incluso el mundo mismo no podría contener los libros
que se escribirían. Amén

III. Why can’t He heal people today?

A. Some believe it was only for that time
1. Where does it say that in scripture?
a) It doesn’t
b) In fact…
Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and
forever.
(1) He is not changing His mission
statement

2. What makes that generation any

different than this generation
a) We absolutely need Jesus just as much

3. Jesus was physically on the earth then,

but now He is in heaven
a) But He sent us His Spirit
Juan 14:12-14 "De cierto os digo que el que cree en mí,
las obras que yo hago, las hará, también; y mayores
obras que éstas hará, porque Yo voy a Mi Padre. 13 Y
todo lo que pidáis en mi nombre, que yo haré, para que
el Padre sea glorificado en el Hijo. 14 Si pides algo en Mi
nombre, Yo lo haré.
b) We then as believers do as He did..
Marcos 16:17-18 Y estas señales seguirán a los que
creen: En mi nombre echarán fuera demonios; hablarán
con nuevas lenguas; 18 tomarán serpientes; y si beben
algo mortal, de ninguna manera les hará daño;
impondrán las manos sobre los enfermos y se
recuperarán".
B. The only thing that hinders us is our faith
1. If we simply believe Him, He will touch
us
a) Jairus
Lucas 8:50 Pero cuando Jesús lo oyó, le respondió,
diciendo: "No temas; solo cree, y ella será sanada".

(1) He walked into the house, kicked

out all those that ridiculed Him and
raised the man’s daughter from the dead

(2) Do you have a problem that is

“beyond help”
(a) He brings dead things to life

2. Woman with a flow of blood

Marcos 5:26-30... Había gastado todo lo que tenía y no
estaba mejor, sino que empeoró. 27 Cuando oyó hablar
de Jesús, se puso detrás de Él entre la multitud y tocó su
manto. 28 Porque ella dijo: «Si tan sólo tocara sus
vestiduras, seré sanada». 29 Inmediatamente se secó la
fuente de su sangre, y sintió en su cuerpo que había sido
sanada de la aflicción.
a) If I can just get near Him – I know I can
be healed

3. Personal testimony
a) Brazil – herniated disc – healed
b) Lady blind in one eye, received her sight
c) Boy in a wheelchair, had no feeling in his
leg, told his mom he felt it when I pinched him

4. You can believe what you want

a) God gives us that choice
b) But I’m here to tell you, that Jesus is
risen from the dead
(1) And He still works miracles today.

Altar Call:
I. The greatest miracle is the miracle of salvation
a. That is the main reason Jesus came to earth –
rescue us from the penalty of our sin
II. We carry in our body the curse of sin
a. Sin is all the wrong things we do
i. The things that violate our consciences
ii. Hatred, Sexual sin, Stealing, lying, alcohol,
drugs
b. We are all guilty of sin

i. There is not one person that can honestly

boast they are free from sin
c. Sin separates us from God
i. It leaves a mark of guilt on our conscience
ii. God is perfect, He has not part in sin
d. Sin must be judged
i. God wouldn’t be a fair God if He did not
judge sin
ii. Not one of us can bear the penalty
III. Good news
a. Jesus paid the price for our sin
b. If we would simply repent and believe that Jesus
died and rose again, we can find forgiveness

James 5:14-16 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for
the elders of the church, and let them pray over him,
anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And
the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will
raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be
forgiven.

será perdonado
