A blessed day to you, as compliance to the DepEd memorandum number 291, series of
2008, which states that the public-school teachers are not exempted from the eight-hour workday
but shall not exceed six(6) hours a day actual classroom teaching with an option to spend the
remaining 2 hours inside or outside the school premises to complete the teacher’s duty (see the
attached memorandum), we are humbly requesting for the implementation of this in our campus
to give time to the different learning activities needed for the advancement of our learners. Listed
below are the activities suggested if the 6 hours a day actual classroom teaching will be
implemented.

Attached with this letter is the proposed adjusted class program which will start at
7:15am and will end at 2:30pm and the remaining 1 and a half hours will be spent doing the
proposed activities above inside or outside the school premises. The order of subjects in previous
class schedule will not be changed. We are planning to implement these changes on April 11,
2023, to give time for the approval and signatory of the faculty members and school governing
