of "legal pluralism" and what it entails in general.
• Compare the narrow and broad interpretations of the concept "legal
pluralism".
• Examine / carefully consider the acceptance of the 1996 South African
Constitution's influence on legal pluralism in South Africa.
• Identify the official legal systems of South Africa.
• Question / Criticize so‐called "living customary law" sometimes being
discussed as / referred to as, "unofficial" (South African) customary law.
