A historical place
OR
MOEN-JO-DARO Visit

Note it is a descriptive essay

A visit to a historical place gives us information about the people of the past and their
ways of life.In the last summer vacation, a few of my friends decided to go to

er
moen-jo-daro, a place of great historical interest.
We left Karachi for Larkana by train. On reaching there, we stayed in our hotel. Next

nt
morning,we reached moen-jo-daro by bus. It is at a distance of 27 kilometers from

Ce
Larkan on the right bank of the river Indus. Moen-jo-daro means "Mount of the Dead ''
and its rains are about 4500 years old. It was first discovered in 1922, when some
villagers found pieces of old pots and bricks at the place. These pieces were brought to
ish
Sir John Marshall. He was an English civil servant,
whose job was to look after the historical remains. He ordered the man for digging the
place in this way, this old city was discovered.
gl

The people of moen-jo-daro were great traders, farmers and craftsmen. The trade was
carried on through the river Indus which was very near and the sea within easy reach.
En

The countryside must have been fertile since wheat, rice and cotton grew there. The
farmers also keep cattle. There were skilled craftsmen who work in gold, silver and Ivory.
Clay dolls and cards were made
E

for children to play with. The people of moen-jo-daro were quite rich and lived a happy
M

life. No one has yet been able to determine the meaning of the words written on the seal
and on the pottery.
Thus hundreds of visitors not only from Pakistan but also from all over the world, come
to see this dead Civilization. In the evening. We took the last round of the site and
returned to Larkana. This trip was very interesting and informative for us.

COVID-19
OR.
Natural Disasters

We all have been affected by the current COVID-19 pandemic. However, the
impact of the pandemic and its consequences are felt differently depending on our
status as individuals and as members of society. While some try to adapt to

er
working online, homeschooling their children and ordering food via Instacart,

nt
others have no choice but to be exposed to the virus while keeping society
functioning. Our different social identities and the social groups we belong to

epidemics. Ce
determine our inclusion within society and, by extension, our vulnerability to

COVID-19 is killing people on a large scale. As of October 10, 2020, more

ish
than 7.7 million people across every state in the United States and its four territories
had tested positive for COVID-19. According to the New York Times database, at least
213,876 people with the virus have died in the United States.
gl

However, these alarming numbers give us only half of the picture; a closer look at data
En

by different social identities (such as class, gender, age, race, and medical history)
shows that minorities have been disproportionately affected by the pandemic. These
minorities in the United States are not having their right to health fulfilled
E

According to the World Health Organization’s report Closing the Gap in a

M

Generation: Health Equity through Action on the Social Determinants of Health,

“poor and unequal living conditions are the consequences of deeper structural
conditions that together fashion the way societies are organized—poor social
policies and programs, unfair economic arrangements, and bad politics.”
This toxic combination of factors as they play out during this time of crisis, and as early
news on the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic pointed out, is disproportionately
affecting African American communities in the United States. I recognize that the
pandemic has had and is having devastating effects on other minorities as well,
but space does not permit this essay to explore the impact on other minority
groups.

Employing a human rights lens in this analysis helps us translate needs and social
problems into rights, focusing our attention on the broader socio political structural
context as the cause of the social problems. Human rights highlight the inherent
dignity and worth of all people, who are the primary rights-holders.
Governments (and other social actors, such as corporations) are the duty-bearers, and
as such have the obligation to respect, protect, and fulfill human rights.
Human rights cannot be separated from the societal contexts in which they are
recognized, claimed, enforced, and fulfilled. Specifically, social rights, which include the
right to health, can become important tools for advancing people’s citizenship and
enhancing their ability to participate as active members of society.
Such an understanding of social rights calls our attention to the concept of equality,
which requires that we place a greater emphasis on “solidarity” and the

“collective.Furthermore, in order to generate equality, solidarity, and social
integration, the fulfillment of social rights is not optional. In order to fulfill social

Karachi is one of the biggest cities in the world. It is the sea-port and commercial hub of

It seems that this city lacks the due attention of the concerned authorities so ultimately
its problems not only stand unsolved but also new problems arise. This city faces a law

bikes is common.
E

The transport facility is inadequate. Passengers have to travel hanging on the

M

footboards and sitting on the roofs of the buses. The traffic systems seem ineffective so
the problem of traffic jam is common. Road accidents frequently take place. Valuable
lives of the people are lost due to these accidents. No traffic discipline is seen on the
roads. The cleanliness and hygienic situation of the city is the worst. It seems that no
department or authority exists in this city who takes the responsibility to keep the city
clean. Heaps of garbage and filth are found in the streets and on the sides of the roads.
The manholes are without covers and water flows on the roads. Stagnant waters breed
mosquitoes and flies that cause malaria and other diseases.
The unnatural and random
growth of population and lack of planning have caused unemployment. The young
people, particularly, the educated people face this problem.

My best friend
Nowadays true and faithful friends are very rare. A true friend is one who stands by his friend in
his hour of need. If a person leaves his friend at a time when he needs him the most. He cannot
be called a real friend. He is a fair-weather friend. A friend in need is a friend indeed. it is indeed
very difficult to find a true friend in this world. All that glitters is not gold.

We should distinguish between good and bad friends. We should know that only a person who
is sincere and honest can prove to be a good friend. A good friend is a source of happiness. He
shares not only our joys but also our sorrows

I am very fortunate that I have a true friend. He is Mr. Arshad Bhatti. He is my best friend. He is

er
of my age. He is well built and has a frank, honest look. He is smart and energetic. He is fair in
his color. We have been studying in the same school for five years. He lives near my house. We

nt
spend most of our time together. He is the only son of his father

Ce
He belongs to a rich family. His father is the manager of a bank. His mother is also employed.
She is a teacher in Government High School. Though his parents are well off, they are not
proud of their wealth. They are very God-fearing. They treat me as their own son.
ish
I like Arshad because he possesses a smiling face. He is a good-tempered boy and never fights
with anyone. If a poor boy is unable to pay his fee, Arshad comes to his rescue by paying his
gl

fees. He is also kind to animals and never troubles them. He gets up early in the morning and
En

goes for a walk. He is very particular about cleanliness. He hates evil but not the evildoer. He
feels that it is better to reform them.

My best friend is very intelligent and hardworking. He is the monitor of our class. He is very
E

popular among his classmates. He believes in constant struggle. He is at the top of his class.
M

But he never boasts of his ability. He is very fond of reading books. He is very helpful to the
weak students. He also helps me in studying the subjects in which I am weak. He also takes a
leading part in the welfare of the school.

He is very sociable. He is respectful to his teachers. His pleasing manners have endeared him
to both his teachers and the class-fellows.

His teachers always speak highly of him and say that he is a promising boy and is sure to have
a brilliant future. He is a kind and straightforward friend. We have always helped each other. We
have never allowed any misunderstanding to come our way. I am proud of having such a
sincere friend. may he live long!

A terrible accident
OR
A horrible road accident

Road accidents are common in our city. But last week the road accident that took place
near Sharah-e-Faisal was much horrible that the scene of that accident could not
vanished from my mind.
I was travelling by a wagon. All of sudden I heard a loud sound it seemed that two

er
vehicles would have struck and indeed this very happened. There was hue and cry, no

nt
body knew that how many persons had been injured or killed. There was traffic jam, my
wagon also stopped. At the crossing a public bus had struk a wagon which was coming

Ce
from the opposite road. Many people rushed to the accident place. The traffic police
also reached there. Immediately ambulances of the welfare organizations also reached
there to rescue the victims of the accident. They took them to the near hospitals.
ish
Thanks God the casuality was less, only one man died at the spot. However, the
number of injured passengers was high, eight passengers were seriously injured who
were taken to the hospitals. The drivers were arrested for their slackness and careless
gl

driving.
En

I was thinking why the drivers drive their vehicle so recklessly! Why they don't think that
the lives of the passengers and also of their own are valuable. Alas they avoid driving
hurriedly.

A cricket match
Cricket is now passion around the world. It has become the most played game across
the world. In Pakistan, it is played at every level from streets to international stadiums.
Many students join professional cricket with the hope of getting space into the Pakistan
Cricket team.

Last Sunday, our college team had a cricket match against Superior College. The match
was played at Govt. College Cricket ground. The match started at 10 am and we
reached the stadium at 9:30 am to facilitate and support our team.

er
Both teams were ready to give outstanding performance. With blue T-shirts and yellow
trousers, our team called the PCTs (Punjab College Tigers). Superior College named its

nt
cricket team as SLG (Superior Lion Group). Both teams reached the ground and toss
was won by our captain.
Ce
PCT decided to bowl first. The first over did not show any special activity as our fast
ish
bowler Muhammad Javed gave two singles. The game went slow normal till 5th over
when our wicket-keeper stumped one of their openers. He was gone at 14 in 20 balls
with 1 four. It was 20 after 5 overs with a wicket fallen.
gl

The ball was handed to our leg spinner Zeshan. He took amazing two wickets in his first
En

over. The top order of SLG was back to pavilion in six overs putting only 22 on the
scoreboard. The start was in favour of PCTs.
E

Then came Naveed Ahmad, a left-handed batsman of SLG who played a brilliant inning
M

of 42 runs with seven boundaries and was taken by Ali Ahmad on long-off. By the end
of 15 overs, SLG were 93/5. The last five overs of the innings gave 26 more runs for 3
more wickets. SLG finished the innings at 119/8. Now PCTs required 120 runs in 20
overs to win the game.

The 2nd inning started after 20 minutes of break and our openers Haris and Sohail
reached the pitch. Haris faced 1st ball and had a narrow escape from being caught
behind. It proved a good omen for the team as he added 35 with the help of 4 fours and
2 sixes to the score just facing 28 balls. He was bowled by Shan Ali.

The game was in our favour till the end of 12th over. The scoreboard told 82/2 after 12
overs. PCTs required 38 more runs in eight overs with an average of 3.2. It was an easy
task. But the misfortune was waiting for its turn.

SLG captain gave the ball to a young bowler named Atif Munir. He was off-break bowler
and was famous for his E-googley. He took four wickets in his first two overs. We were
shocked to see our best middle-order Usman and Fahad going back facing a few balls
each. The whole game was changed and now the scoreboard showed 92/6 after 15
overs.

We still had hope in our all-rounder Salman Sharif. He was on the crease playing with
confidence. Next over was to be bowled by a fast bowler. His first delivery was wide off

er
the stumps, as it rose up, Salman went on backfoot and hit it hard over the head of the
bowler for a huge six.

nt
Ce
The audience clapped and cheered the boundary as it was the need of the time. The
next ball was a wide. The bowler was under pressure and made another mistake- he
bowled a full toss and Salman was ready for it. He pulled it to the mid-on for another six.
ish
Brilliant!

Now we needed 8 runs in 2 overs. We lost another wicket in the beginning of next over.
gl

But fortunately, it was not Salman. Babar came to bat. He knew how to take a single. He
took a single and brought Salman on strike. Salman tried to play a good length ball on
En

long-on but missed it completely. Then he hit a brilliant four on the last ball of the over.

We needed 3 runs in last over with two wickets in hand. But the victory was not in our
E

fate. Aslam was a run out on the first ball of the last over. We had lost the hope: 5 balls
M

and 3 runs with one wicket in hand. The next ball brought a single and so did the last
ball. The match ended in a draw. We were both happy and sad. We could win the match
but we could lose it at the same time.

It was a thrilling cricket match in my life.

Technical education
Technical education is the study of the use of technology. It is aimed at shaping the
physical world according to human needs. Technical education includes a wide range of
scientific and technological disciplines.

Technical education is important and relevant to the present age. It is for this reason
that the whole world of today is based on the use of science and technology. Therefore,
in order to make the world function properly, the imparting of technical education is
needed. Moreover, it is also important in multiple other ways.

er
Technology empowers people belonging to every field of life. Since technology is being
used everywhere, technical education is also necessary everywhere. Technical

nt
education provides access to the latest technological machinery in all fields of life. For

Ce
example, a technical diploma in surveying and architecture allows a student to get
knowledge about using the complicated tools involved in the process of surveying and
architecture
ish
In the field of medicine, technical education is equally necessary. This is for the reason
that modern medical science used a wide range of technological tools. To use these
gl

tools the operator must have knowledge about them.

En

Technical education is also needed to raise the literacy rate of a country. In a country,
not every student is mentally able to study the standard combinations of arts, science,
or business education. There are many students who wish to serve society in a different
E

way.
M

They are the students who select technical education. After getting technical education,
they get employed in different multinational companies. Technical is convulsively a
growing trend. Particularly in third world countries. Where labor is cheap and technology
is being installed. Technical education is also crucial in the Gulf states.

Because nearly all the gulf states have oil refineries in which heavy technology is used.
Company owners from these countries hire diploma holders in any field of technical
education. Therefore, technical education is highly required in the present world. It
offers brighter possibilities in terms of employment and economic benefits.

Science and society
Science is the knowledge we gain through observation and experience proved true by
reliable empirical evidence. Science works on the principle of empiricism. It tries to
define and explain everything in the world in a logical way.

Besides being highly reliable in theory, science is not merely confined to theory. Science
is primarily intended to understand the laws of nature. And after understanding them,
using them to change the physical conditions of the world according to human needs

Science is practical in its nature. It aims to create a beneficial change for people at

er
large. Since society is a collection of individuals, science is greatly necessary for the
proper functioning of a society. Science affects society in multiple ways.

nt
Ce
Science determines the collective mindset of a society. If a society is based on science,
its individuals seek science to understand and live life. In a society based on science,
individuals remain closer to the truth. They develop a habit of doubting things because
ish
doubt is the beginning of science. Science promotes critical thinking in society. It invites
individuals to think beyond the boundaries of their beliefs
gl

Moreover, a society based on science is more advanced and prosperous. This is for the
reason that science aims to create positive change in society. Science keeps on
En

inventing new things. Science keeps on producing an excessive amount of useful things
in a shorter period of time.
E

For example, an agricultural society based on science produces more crops. Because it
M

follows the scientific method. The scientific method is necessary to kill many social evils
as well. Terrorism can be removed from society only by creating space for science.

The scientific method teaches tolerance, patience and courage to bear disagreements.
As a result, it allows individuals to live with each other peacefully. Conclusively, science
and society are interconnected. Science influences the functioning of a society to a
larger extent.

Inflation/Rising prices in Pakistan

Inflation is defined as a rise in the prices of goods in a country that reduces the
purchasing power of its citizens. Inflation is not altogether absent from any economy. It
keeps on fluctuating. It remains normal as long as it does not surpass its threshold for a
year.

However, if it goes beyond the determined limit, inflation-crisis springs in a country.

There are multiple kinds of inflation. Demand-pull inflation is caused when the demand
for goods and supplies exceeds the supply available. As a result, the prices go high.

er
Pricing power inflation occurs when firms increase the prices to gain larger profits from

nt
their goods and services.

Ce
Excessive printing of currency notes also causes inflation because in it the available
currency does not parallel with the supply available. International debts also push a
nation to increase the prices to earn its expenditures.
ish
Inflation negatively results in the hoarding of goods, uncertainties in business and lower
national savings. It also has social and political effects. Politically, higher inflation rates
gl

can earn the ruling party a bad reputation. Inflation highly affects the public opinion as to
the ruling party. It is for the reason that in democracies inflation directly hits a common
En

person.

Any unexpected increase in the prices of basic necessities of life can enrage a layman
E

and change his political views. Society also expects public demonstrations and protests
M

if inflation continues to rise above determined levels. Inflation is beneficial only for
inflators

At large it is dangerous for an economy if not regulated properly. In order to avoid

inflation or to balance it, a state tries to create a balance between the goods and
services produced and their demand. In Pakistan, excessive domestic demand
outweighs the supply of services and goods available

When this phenomenon reaches a high stage, prices touch the skies. Factually,
Pakistan was reported to have seen the highest inflation rate in the whole world in 2020.

The definition of child abuse befits any activity in which a child is psychologically
manipulated for an evil purpose or physically injured. Most of the time, this term refers

er
to the sexual violence against children in which a child is harassed, molested or raped

nt
World Health Organization reports that in 2014 more than one billion children were

Ce
abused globally. Psychologists have figured out multiple causes of child abuse.

It is seen that abusers in most of the cases are themselves earlier victims of this act.
ish
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a psychological illness that causes emotions of
anger, aggression and rage in the human mind. This illness might only be the force to
move an abuser. Abusers are seen to have bad martial and domestic relationships.
gl

In Pakistan, according to the Tribune, eight children in Pakistan are abused on average
En

every day. This ratio is growing and is parallel to the emotional and psychological abuse
happening.
E

Steps are being taken nationwide to ensure the protection of children against child
M

abusers. Experts recommend that parents can a central role in guarding their children.
Parents should take care of their children. They should not leave their child with any
stranger or an even elder relative. They should develop an interactive relationship with
the child so nothing about the child remains hidden. The education system should also
initiate courses based on sex education to promote instructive awareness among the
children

Children should be taught self-defense courses in order to survive abuse attempts. The
criminalization of child abuse of all forms should be ensured. Strict legal action should
be taken against the abusers. The certainty of punishment should be increased.

Social authorities should try to foster love for children among its inhabitants. There is a
need to monitor the psychological condition of a child as well. Although this has been
becoming a huge challenge for society, it can be dealt with by thinking wisely and acting

Education for Women

The World Bank reported that in 2017 women shared 49.6% of the global population.
Women are existing in large numbers. They are identical concerning their sex and

er
gender. Since the purpose of education is to enable humans to think and act, women's
education is necessary.

nt
Ce
Education polishes the abilities of an individual. Nature has endowed women with
exceptional abilities. Women's education is, therefore, highly needed for the growth and
development of a society. Averroes, one of the influential Muslim philosophers, says:
ish
Every developed society endorses the abilities of women by giving them education.
Educating women equates to empowering them. Moreover, Article 37 of the Pakistani
gl

Constitution ensures education as a right of every woman.

En

However, women still face various problems in education. According to a survey, only
47% of Pakistani are literate. There is a lot to be done for women's education.
E

Society needs to understand the fact that women's education is necessary for domestic,
M

social and national interests. People should not consider women inferior in terms of
learning. They should not be considered a burden but a workforce that can be utilized
by educating them.

Women's education will not only empower them financially but also enables them to be
good caretakers of homes. An educated woman knows her responsibilities well and can
bring up her children in a civilized environment. In this way, an educated woman can
contribute to the development of a society. She breeds a motivated and directed
generation.

The government should, therefore, ensure that every girl is allowed to study. Women's
education is also required to counter the abuse against women. It is also beneficial in

national level because it is the remedy for our underdevelopment

Pollution

er
Pollution is one of the growing challenges facing the world today. Both developed and
underdeveloped countries equally share this problem. The developed countries,

nt
however, pay attention to prevent it, whereas the developing countries altogether ignore
it.
Ce
By definition, pollution is the addition of contaminants in the natural environment. These
ish
harmful contaminants disturb the natural balance and cause harmful changes in the
lives of living beings particularly humans
gl

Due to excessive industrialization and the use of fossil fuels, pollution is rapidly growing.
Pollution will become a major threat to the survival of the human race if it is not
En

countered right now

Environmental scientists divide pollution into three basic types: air pollution, water
E

pollution and soil pollution.

M

Air pollution is largely caused by the presence of harmful and unhealthy gases in the air.
Vehicles and factories release large amounts of poisonous gases into the air. This
pollutes the air and makes it harmful for humans to breathe.

Since humans breathe air to extract oxygen, air pollution causes breathing diseases.
Water pollution occurs when toxic waste is spilled into streams, rivers and oceans from
industries using chemicals.

Soil pollution is caused by the addition of harmful chemicals into the soil like fertilizers
and industrial waste. Soil pollution removes the fertility of the soil and adds barrenness
to it. As a result, the soil cannot grow crops.

Large-scale deforestation also causes soil pollution. Nearly all the factors causing
pollution are rapidly growing and functioning. There are many ways to avoid pollution.
Planting the trees is necessary to cope with this challenge.

Restricting the use of fossil fuels in industries should also be ensured. Factories should
be regulated to not dump their toxic waste into lands and rivers. Awareness campaigns
should be initiated to seek the public's help in reducing this.

er
The environmental crisis should be recognized, addressed and resolved. The education
system should teach students with regards to this serious issue. New technologies are

nt
needed to be introduced to protect the environment against pollution.

Ce
Conclusively, pollution is a serious problem and needs to be solved by using the
aforementioned methods by governments and individuals.

Lavish spendings on weddings
Are you affected by the lavish spendings on weddings? This essay is about lavish
spendings on weddings. Lavish spendings on weddings lead our society towards the
wrong way and if measures are not taken by the concerned, it will badly affect our social
lives. In this essay you can find causes, effects, and solutions of lavish spendings on
weddings.

The major causes of lavish spendings on weddings are to show off and build reputation
in society. Majority of our people rent a banquet rather than a simple hall, order a
large variety of foods rather than 1-2 dishes, arrange fireworks and book a band team

er
etc to show off and build reputation.

nt
The disastrous effects of lavish spendings on weddings are an increase in the number

Ce
of unmarried people and people have to lend money for lavish spendings on weddings.
Many survey reports have been published which show that numerous people get
unmarried because of lavish spendings. I am the eye witness of this thing that my
ish
friend's father lend money for lavish spendings on the wedding of his first daughter and
because of which up till now he has been facing worries.
gl

It is predicted that the situation will become even worse in the future. Therefore, the
En

Government should ban lavish spendings on weddings as was done in the era of
General Zia ul Haq. Since numerous people get unmarried. Therefore, it is the
responsibility of different NGOs that they should financially assist needy people in their
marriage.
E
M

To summarize, we have discussed causes, effects, and solutions of lavish spendings on

weddings. We should take lessons from such a bad trend and we should also take an
active part in removing the signs of lavish spendings on weddings.

High cost of medical services
Are you affected by the high cost of medical services? The essay is about high cause of
medical services. The medical facility is the basic need of a citizen and government
should provide this basic need to every citizen at any cost otherwise citizens will not
remain loyal to its state. In this essay you can find causes, effects and solutions of high
cost of medical services.

The causes of high cost of medical services are profiteering and irresponsibility by the
government. In other aspects of life profiteering is somewhat difficult but in case of
medical services it is very easy because patients are worry about their diseases and

er
want to get rid of them so they don't care about the money. So the medical services
related people do not lose this chance and do what they want. The second cause is

nt
irresponsibility of the government if government provide free medical services to the

Ce
citizens, they will not need to go any other sectors and likely will no need to pay high
prices.
ish
The effects of high cause of medical services are death and increase in crimes. Due to
high cost of medical services poor people do not go to the hospital and ultimately die in
their home. Similarly crimes in our country are increases because of high cause of
gl

medical service. A survey has been published regarding the causes of increase in crime
which shows that the major cause of increase in crime is the high cause of medical
En

services.

The first solution of this problem is that government should crackdown against those
E

people who profiteering in medical services.Second, it is also the responsibility of

M

different NGOs who collect fund that they should provide medical assistance to poor
people who are not able to bear such high prices of medical services.
To summarize, we have discussed about the causes, effects and solutions of high cost
of medical services. In this worse situation every single individual is responsible and he
or she has to perform his responsibility.

Migration of people from rural to urban
areas
Are you affected by the migration of people from rural to urban areas? This essay is
about the migration of people from rural to urban areas. Migration of people from rural to
urban areas is not good thing and if migration is not stop, urban people will be badly
affected by it. In this essay you can find causes, effects, and solutions of migration of
people from rural to urban areas.

The causes of this migration is unemployment in rural areas and the people of rural

er
areas want to change their social class. The employment situation is very critical in rural

nt
areas, therefore people need to change their homeland and migrate to another place
where they find opportunities for jobs. The lifestyle of people of villages is as old as

Ce
lifestyle of 1950. So they have become bored and want to change their social lives. Due
to this reason, they migrate towards urban areas.
ish
The effects of migration of people from rural to urban areas are that urban people have
to face difficulties in many ways and increase in crime in urban areas. Rural people get
job and urban people remain unemployed. Facilities like transport, water supply and
gl

electricity etc become less. A statistical survey has been published which shows the
basic reason for the increase in crime is the migration of people from rural to urban
En

areas.

The solutions of this migration are actions of government and traders. Traders should
E

situate their industries in rural areas as they situate in urban areas. Similarly,
M

government should provide opportunities of job in rural areas as they provide in urban
areas and also facilitate them to make their life style better in their own homeland.

To summarize, we have discussed the causes, effects and solutions of migration of

people from rural to urban areas. If measures are not taken on the priority basis this
migration will more badly affect the lives of urban people in future.

Wearing uniforms should not be
compulsory in schools
Are you one of those who do not want to wear a school uniform? I am in favour that
wearing a school uniform should not be compulsory in schools and below there are
three reasons for it.

The prices of school uniforms are very high. For example, an ordinary pant is hardly 500
rupees but the school pant is approximately 1500 rupees. The same case for
tai,shirt,monogram, and cap

er
nt
Because of school uniforms, we are no more choosy. For example if a uniform does not
look good on a person but due to compulsion he will have to wear it and cannot choose
other clothes.
Ce
We cannot enjoy events fully in the school because of uniforms. For example, on
ish
Mother's Day and Father's Day we have to wear school uniforms rather than being
given freedom to choose our own clothes.
gl

On the other hand, a school uniform has its own advantages.First, it develops equality
among students for example if one person belongs to a lower class and other belongs
En

to an upper class both have to wear the same uniform which creates equality between
them. It makes a student recognisable for example if any student has an accident then
any person recognising his uniform calls to his school for help. In my opinion the
E

equality of a school uniform has not benefits, it is actually a compulsion which binds a
M

student to wear it in any case. Similarly school uniform does not make a student
identifiable rather than it removes his identity by making all equal.

In conclusion, wearing uniforms should not be compulsory in schools because it is

economically, socially not good and it hurts one's self desires. If wearing a uniform is not
made non-compulsory in school, parents will have to cancel the admission of their child
because of high prices of school uniforms. Similarly, students will not want to go school
because of hurting their self desires and destroying their social life.

All the students should be promoted to
the next class without exams
Are you one of those who thinks students should be promoted to the next class without
exams?. I am also in favour that all the students should be promoted to the next class
without exams. Following three reasons are behind this argument.

The thread of coronavirus continues up till now. According to NCOC continuously

Corona virus patients are reported. If elders are not safe from this virus, how can
students whose immunity system is weaker than elders save from this virus?

er
nt
The recent flood situation does not allow us to study. In my locality flood water rises up
to many feets due to which the situation is the worst which I have not ever seen before.

Ce
Load shedding and malaria are cherry on the cake. Flood water has taken load
shedding and mosquitoes with it. For many days, light is not available in my locality and
hospitals are filled with Malaria patients.
ish
Many students, especially living in cities like Karachi, have no such problems.
There is no flood situation there, likewise no Corona and mosquito patients. So they can
gl

easily go to the centre and give their exams. But this is a minority, the majority of
students live in interior villages which are badly affected by coronavirus, flood and load
En

shedding and malaria.

In conclusion, there is no chance to take exams therefore all students should be

E

promoted to the next class without exams. If exams are taken then we will not be able to

attend the exams and ultimately fail.

Teachers should punish students who do

not do their work properly.
Are you one of the students who are punished because you do not do their work
properly? I am in favor that teachers should punish students who do not do their work
properly. The reasons of it are as follows
.
If teachers do not punish them, this thing will become their habit and not only in study
but in other works they do not do them properly. For example a student who does not do

er
his homework properly, most likely he would not do the chores of his house properly.

nt
The second reason is that they will not become good students and consequently not

Ce
become a good professional. For example if a student is doing engineering and is not
doing their work properly, he will become such engineer who will never complete their
projects properly.
ish
The third reason is that if these students are not punished by teachers, will destroy the
whole system of the country because of this bad habit. For example if such student
gl

becomes politician then he will run the system of country improperly which will ultimately
result in destruction of the country.
En

If these students are not punished by teachers it will be the chance that they will make
their work is more proper. For example there are many students who become reluctant
E

after punishment but they easily change their bad habits by just soft preaching. But I
M

have a different opinion because these students are very small in number therefore it is
it is necessary that teachers should punish students who do not do their work properly.

In conclusion, teachers should punish who do not do there work properly for betterness
of them and society. If these are not punished by teachers they will not only harm their
social lives, professional lives but also their homeland

Students should not be allowed to
bring mobile phones to school
Are you one of the students who bring mobile phones to school? I am in favour that
students should not be allowed to bring mobile phones to school because of the
following three reasons.

First, they use mobile phones during the class. There have been many survey reports
published which claims that the students, who bring their mobile phones to school use it
during the class which destroys their study.

er
nt
Second, they use their mobile phones for taking pictures and videos of teachers.
Recently the vice chancellor of NED University of engineering and technology strictly

. Ce
prohibited the use of mobile phones during class after reporting such cases

Third, they involve in using social media in any corner of the school and bunk the
ish
classes. There have been many survey reports published who claim that the quantity of
such students is increasing adversely who bunk their classes because of the use of
social media.
gl

There are some advantages of bringing mobile to the school. The first reason is that
En

they can contact with their parents in emergency for example if a student is wounded in
the school he will contact with his parents.Second reason is that parents remain in
touch with their children for example after every class they make contact with their
E

children. But I have a different opinion because in case of any emergency and to keep
M

in touch parents and students can contact with each other through telephone of the
school.

In conclusion, school administration with the corporation of parents should not allow its
students bring their mobile to school. If measures are not taken we will not have good
engineers, doctors and other professionals.

Gardening should be made a
compulsory subject in all schools
Are you one of the students who loves gardening? I want to say that I am also in this
love and support that gardening should be made a compulsory subject in all schools.
My support is strengthened by the following three reasons.

First, today's most dangerous threat to humanity is climate change and the reason of
This climate change is lack of trees. If gardening should be made a compulsory subject
in all schools students will plant millions of trees which will help in fight against climate

er
change.

nt
Second, this habit is being removed from students constantly. For example when my

Ce
elder sister was a student we saw her busy in planting but I do not find such obdureness
by myself. If gardening is made compulsory I will sure that this obdurateness will rise
again.
ish
Third, like other countries Pakistan is constantly losing its forests. The forests of
Pakistan have been removed. According to rainforest.com Pakistan
gl

between 1990 and 2010 lost an average of 42,000 or 1.66% per year.
En

If gardening are made compulsory, it will affect other compulsory science and medical
subjects, for example it will affect physics, chemistry and bio etc. In our schooling
system these important subjects are not being taught properly, how can gardening
E

subject be taught properly. But I have a different opinion it will not affect science and
M

medical subjects because one class will be more than enough for it and it is not true that
in our schools the subjects are not being taught properly, there are many schools which
do this job properly, so they will teach gardening properly as well.

In conclusion, government should take an action to make gardening a compulsory

subject in all schools. If this major is not taken climate change will become more worse,
gardning habit will be finished and Pakistan will totally lost its forest

Pet and wild animals
When I compare and contrast pet and wild animals, I see many differences and
similarities between them. Firstly, pet animals are dependent on humans, but wild
animals are independent and self-sufficient. Most pet animals are kept in houses, farms

and care for their animals daily. Unlike pet animals, wild animals are independent and

animals either eat meat, grass and foods that people buy for them. Some of the pet and
wild animals produce food for people, entertain them like in the circus or zoos, ride

people on their backs and some unique animals give knowledge to people when they
learn about the animals. Therefore, both pet and wild animals have many similarities
and differences between them.

City and village life
Sometimes, I think about where my own future house should be, in a city or in a village.
I like to live in the two areas because they have many different interesting aspects.
Therefore I can't make up my mind. After I compare the air, the technology and the
school of the two areas, I finally make a decision to live in a city.

The first thing I considered was the air. Both people from rural villages and City dwellers
breathe the same air. But that is where the similarities end. The air in the village is pure
and more serene than the air in the city because the village has lots of plants and few
vehicles. Although the city which has a lot of business centers of factories and helps to

er
improve the standard of living, it also causes air pollution. Other reasons which cause
air pollution are that the city usually has lots of vehicles and people in the city cut lots of

nt
plants to make way for commercial, industrial and residential buildings.

Ce
Then, I pay a lot of attention to the technology. The technology to the village is similar to
the technology of the city. People who live in the two areas might have and use many
ish
different kinds of technology such as smartphones, iPhones, computers, laptops etc.
However, people who live in the city can have more opportunities to access to new
technologies than people who live in the village.
gl

In a nutshell, after talking everything into consideration, I think I made the right decision.
En

My decision is that my future house will be in a city because I need to have a good and
convenient location for my studies. In addition, I like to see our or buy new products of
technology as soon as they are released. Therefore, I believe that I will probably be
E

happier if I live in a city

Good neighbors and bad neighbors
One cannot choose everything in life. The same is true for neighbors. It is simply a
matter in the hand of Allah. If one is lucky enough, one may be blessed with neighbors
who are ready to help and share problems and can be depended upon in time of need.

On the other hand, some of us have to put up with a bunch of trouble makers neighbors
who have nothing better to do than to be too interested in what is going on at the
houses next door who are always eager to create an unpleasant scene or commotion.

The truth is one cannot isolate oneself completely from the people around. As our

er
neighbors are the people dwelling closest to us, we cannot naturally avoid
communicating and socializing with them. Good neighbors are those that are ready to

nt
lend you a hand when you are faced with the problem or dilemma.

Ce
On the contrary. Uncooperative and selfish neighbors can directly make the
neighborhood an accursed place to live in. Worst are those that can never keep to their
ish
business and simple love violating the privacy of the People's lives. You can often find
them peeping from their window or loitering by their front doors with a hungry gleam in
their eyes. Keeping a lookout for everything that might be happening next door.
gl

In conclusion, In extreme cases, neighbors, for what would seem a trivial mistake, get
En

ready to shake their fists, and create uproar, often misunderstandings cause neighbors
to view each other as sworn enemies. This is generally mistaken as a sign of total
disrespect for norms and obligation.

My favorite Aunt / Uncle
"Strength is nothing more than well you hide the pain. "My aunt has had to go through
many hardships. I remember that when I first met her, she was struggling to find a job
but she still took me in because my parents had to leave for an important conference.
She never let her problems show on her face. She covered everything with a smile and
taught me to do the same. One thing I greatly admire about her is that even though she
had her own problems, she never hesitated to help others. I greatly admire her strength.

My aunt's life is a great example to never give up. As I mentioned earlier, she was
struggling to find a job when I met her. Despite her problems; finding a job, a mother to

er
take off and to get money for all her mother's medical bills, she never gave up.

nt
She had worked multiple jobs to pay for her study courses and wasn't about to let her

Ce
problems stand in the way of her ambition. She worked hard and last year, she
achieved her goal of opening a political science institution. She taught me that although
we don't realize it, achieving our goal is worth all the hard work and effort.
ish
My aunt is a very important part of my life and who l am. She has played a big role in
shaping my personality. I deeply admire her and her qualities. When I grow up, I hope l
gl

can be as good as her; caring, understanding, kind, determined and strong.

Our school principal
the school on a day to day basis and he has the powers for all the major decisions in
the school. We also have a principal in our school. His name is Mr. Ali. He joined our
school only last year. He is a very strict person, yet a lovable person too. When it comes
to the rules and regulations of the school he is very strict. He makes sure that every
student or staff comes on time.

During assembly hours, he also comes with the entire school and attends the assembly.
If there are any important announcements, he himself would make the announcements.
After he has joined our school, not only the academic side, but the face of school itself

In case any parent needs to speak to the principal, they could do so without any

Reading story books and Reading

course books
(compare and contrast essay)

Books are the best friend of human beings. They provide company to persons in
solitary. A a person can learn lots of things from books. We have different kinds of
books, some books are story books and some books are course books etc, however
both books provide knowledge and wisdom to persons. We must learn both story books
and course books but we ought to concentrate more on course books because it is

er
really important for our exam and other things

nt
We cannot select course books from our desire because it is a part of our syllabus. We

Ce
have to learn course books for passing our exam and test without course books we
cannot pass our exam easily because very often papers are made by Course books.
Some course books are too interesting because in these types of books, there are lots
ish
of interesting chapters and activities which provide us zeal. So course books are really
important for a student's life and career .
gl

We read story books with lots of affection and interest because it is too interesting and
too joyful.Story books increase our imagination little by little. If we learn lots of story
En

books, we will see that our imagination level is increased, and we will imagine lots of
interesting things. Story books also provide wisdom and knowledge but we cannot pass
our exam or test from story books because they aren't part of our syllabus, and our
E

papers will not come from story books.

M

What happens when a school has a
good principal or a bad one
(Compare and contrast essay)

Every school has a principal. He controls all activities of the school and makes rules and
regulations for teachers, students and staff. Principal plays a very active role in school
progress and success, without principal contribution any school cannot achieve success
in any field. Good principal makes sure that everyone follows the rules and regulations
of school, and all staff, teachers and students come at the time. Bad principal doesn't
focus on the school progress, success and time regulation.

er
nt
Good principal has all leadership qualities. He leads his staff, teachers and students
and makes decisions in the favor of school and students . He plays important roles in

Ce
the school. A good principal visits classes, and checks the progress of the students,
teachers and staff. He also attends assembly and checks the students' behaviour and
other things. A better principal also meets with the student's parents and guardians and
ish
informs them about the student's progress.

A bad principal does not come to school regularly. He does not attend assembly and
gl

also does not check the progress of students. He does not make rules and regulations
for staff, teachers and also students. He gives a free hand to the entire school. The
En

progress of school clearly depends on the principle, without good principal school can't
achieve anything.
E

In the end, The role of principal cannot be neglected in any school. So we must follow
M

the instructions of our principal. If any problem happens in the school or anything, we
can write an application to the principal, and the principal will take action on an
application and good principal always takes action on the application. Conclusion, bad
principal does not fulfill his job honestly and the administration is destroyed.
