NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 31st August, 2022
S.O. 4123(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Insecticides Act, 1968
(46 of 1968), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of
the Government of India, in the erstwhile Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Community Development and
Cooperation (Department of Agriculture), dated the 27th February, 1971, published in the Gazette of India,
Extraordinary, Part II, Section-3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 301(E), dated the 1st March, 1971,
namely:-
In the said notification, for serial number (xix) (a) and the entries relating thereto, the following
serial number and entries shall be substituted, namely:-
“(xix) (a) Dr. Sanjay Arya, Joint Director (Plant
Pathology), Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine
Member”.
and Storage, NH-IV, Faridabad, Haryana.

Cooperation), dated the 3rd February, 1997, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section
3, Sub-section (ii), vide number S.O. 79(E), dated the 4th February, 1997, namely:-
In the said notification, for serial number 5 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial
number and entries shall be substituted, namely:-
“5. Dr. Sanjay Arya, Joint Director (Plant Pathology),
Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine and Storage,
Member”.
NH-IV, Faridabad, Haryana.
2. A member shall hold office for so long as he is a member of the Central Insecticides Board.
