Project Title: Enhancing Digital Literacy Program: Free Summer Programs for
High Schoolers
Objectives:
This project aims to provide education that seeks to equip learners with the
competencies and understand appropriate solutions to address the influence of
digital technology.
To provide high school students literacy on evaluating critically information on how
to utilize technology adequately.
To boost and provide better attention to the importance of digital literacy in everyday
life and help them avoid its dangers.
Project Summary :
This summer program for Enhancing Digital Literacy will provide students with the
necessary skills and essential qualities to improve the efficiency, access to
information, and importance in using digital technology. It will increase
awareness for students who are exposed to the digital world. Along with a
working knowledge of computers, this summer program intensifies the students
ability to access resources, allowing students a sense of agency in the selection
of materials they use. This program will help students examine reasoning and
analyze how to separate facts from opinion.
Project Timeframe and Budget:
The program will be implemented for 5 days from July 10-14, 2023 with an estimated
budget of P30, 000. The budget will cover the cost of the digital equipment,
materials, snacks, program, Trainor and staff salaries.
