TOPIC: teachAR: An Augmented Reality Application of ICT laboratories.

Objectives:
 Gather relevant information and knowledge about ICT in the curriculum, particularly in terms of:
a.) topic discussed
b.) teaching strategies/ method used and
c.) Evaluation technique used by the teachers.
 Design and Develop a virtual laboratory using augmented reality.
 Develop an application using augmented reality to boost student engagement.

Essence: The recent technology developments and easier access to knowledge have had a big positive
impact on education. This large amount of data is readily available, but it is not always related to how well-
educated people are. By incorporating virtual things into the real environment in real time, augmented
reality is a great teaching tool that, when used in collaboration with other technologies like AI in education,
may dramatically enhance the learning experience.
* Increased student engagement
* Lessen cognitive loads
* Enhance student learning experience

TOPIC: DEVELOPMENT OF FACIAL RECOGNITION SYSTEM OF STUDENTS FOR TUP MANILA

Essence: In order to keep track of attendance manually, teachers and parents have struggled. Ineffective
queuing systems can also result in crowding and unwanted client contact, which is also risky from a safety
perspective. The school needs technology that is quick and dependable in order to meet the needs of both
the present and future generations.
The researcher's objective is to create a facial recognition attendance system based on facial recognition
with student profiles, attendance, and queuing systems for user convenience in terms of time, effort, and
better safety by avoiding direct contact with unwanted things.
Objectives:
a. To have easy access to student data and status. Student-related data, including attendance, is made
instantly available through a crucial student information system. They can access and view their information
online by using a user-friendly web interface and application. To discuss and enhance student performance,
administrators, teachers, and parents can communicate at several levels.
b. To make the process of recording students' attendance faster. The process of taking student attendance
is time-consuming. On average, it takes 10 minutes to call out each student's name. When a student
approaches the school, the facial recognition technology will assist in taking attendance more quickly. By
having a local server, the database may be quickly accessed and the needed data obtained.
c. to inform and keep the guardians informed about the student's attendance. By integrating parents in the
educational process, parental participation gives schools a valuable opportunity to improve the current
school programs. Student success, parent and teacher satisfaction, and school atmosphere have all been
shown to improve with greater parental involvement.

TOPIC: COSYER: ENHANCING STUDENT LEARNING THROUGH AUGMENTATION IN COMPUTER

SYSTEM SERVICING
Objectives:
This research aims to study and promote the use of augmented reality (AR) books to supplement traditional
print books with digital content for educational purposes. This study's goal was to look into how augmented
reality (AR) technology affected students' learning outcomes (assessed using Bloom's cognitive levels) and
attitudes toward learning in Computer System Servicing tools and equipment’s and its purpose.
 Create Augmented Reality Book Materials in Computer System Servicing.
 Design a Mobile Application with Augmented Reality.
 Determine the usefulness of Augmented Reality Books as learning materials for the learnings of students.

TOPIC: CyberPAL: Development of Web Application to prevent cyberbullying at TUP – Manila

Objectives:
To reduce the number of cyberbully victims and their symptoms of depression and anxiety.
 Determine the extent to which cyberbullying occurs and what can be done from the web-based
application to help deal with such incidents.
 Educate the appropriate internet activity: how other people can be impacted by their wrong online
behaviors, both positive and negative, intentional or not.
 Provides a web application about online safety, cyberbullying, and the ethical use of digital
resources.
