Question: As a Christian, what are your reasons for helping other people? How
conscious are you that every time you do good to others and to society, you are
fulfilling Christ’s command to love God and your neighbor?

My reason for helping others is because I feel empathy for others.

Sometimes I can see that their hardship or problem is what I experienced before so
I help because I know how hard if nobody helps me. Feeling something light and
good inside me is another reason. After helping someone, I feel that I have done
something important. In school, we are taught about the lessons in the Bible and
the way of Christian living. Love is the top important lesson and helping is also
way to show love. Through lessons in school, I understand that Jesus Christ was
born and lived in this world to help us, men, to learn about God’s love and be
forgiven for our sins. As we are shaped in the image of God, we also try to follow
His ways.
