    1. Learning Objectives:
    After going through the chapter,you would be able to understand the entire flow of the
    e-commerce business from start-up to scale-up & growth of the business. and how the
    different departments are practically inter-dependent within the organization &
    working towards, in single agenda to achieve the organizational goal.

    2. Developing Standard Operation Process - SOP:


    An essence of SOP in an e-commerce business is to build a system of operation &
    transparency within the organization.
    The SOP also helps increasing level of efficiency in each department, while
    encouraging productivity.
    The rational approach besides the same is cutting down scope for repetition of work &
    confusions if any.
    To move forward in e-commerce business, every department is to have their own
    SOP, then finally bridging link to the organization’s SOP.
    E-commerce business is an ultra-modern system driven business, the SOP adds more
    mileage to the overall business perspective to enhance productivity.
    It is the department head’s responsibility to develop the SOP of their of operations.
    And finally, it is the CEO/Founder/Co-Founders forte to provide an organizational
    SOP to roll out smooth day to day operations.
    The SOP plays a key role from motivating employees at the work place to attracting
    interest of investors in the organization & building self-confidence of brand owners,
    vendors, associates & service providers who are directly or indirectly associating with
    the company.
