ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (A.I)

A.I. is the study of how to build or program computers to enable them to do
what minds can do (for introductory texts, see Boden, 1987; Broadbent,
1993; Rich and knight, 1991). A.I. is a broad church, whose members differ
in general methodology as well as detail. Accordingly, computational
psychology is diverse too. This volume outlines the major theoretical
approaches and some promising recent developments.
Some of the work herein discussed was done by psychologists. But most
was done by A.I. professionals. However, the distinction is not always
clear. Many A.I. workers are not primarily interested in technological “fixes,”
ingenious ways of getting computers to do things irrespective of how real
minds do them. Rather, they hope to illuminate the structural and
processing principles underlying minds in general and human minds.
Even technological A.I. has a psychological tinge, since its ideas are often
suggested by the human (or animal) case. For instance, a team designing
an early lunar robot, capable of switching between its goals without waiting
for radio signals from earth, modeled the role of the mammalian reticular
formation is scheduling different instinctive behaviors.

CHATBOT
This study explores the trends of chatbots in education studies by
conducting a literature review to analyze relevant papers published in the
Social Science Citation Index (SSCI) journals by searching the Web of
Science (WoS) database. From the analysis results, it was found that the
United States, Taiwan, and Hong Kong are the top three contributing
countries or regions. In addition, most studies adopted quantitative
methods in their research design, such as ANOVA (analysis of covariance)
was in the most frequently adopted approach for comparing the
performances perceptions of different groups of students. From the
analysis by no learning activities. It was determined that the studies related
to chatbot in education are still in an early stage since there are few
empirical studies investigating the use of effective learning designs or
learning strategies with chatbots.
This implies much room for conducting relevant research to drive
innovative teaching in terms of improving the learning process and learning
outcomes. Finally, we highlight the research gaps and suggest several
directions for future research based on the findings in the present study.

Chapter 3: research designs

The design that was used in this study is experimental design. According to
Bell (2009), experimental designs are the process of carrying out research
in an objective and controlled fashion so that the precision is maximized,
and specific conclusions can be drawn regarding a hypothesis statement.
The specific research design used in this study is two group designs. Two-
group experimental design often involves one group that receives the
intervention and another that does not in order to compare their results.
In the study, it gives or shows the effectiveness of A.I. chatbot in how to
make the daily tasks or assignments to much easier for the students in
SHS the A.I. chatbot is not only for the students also it was useful for our
parents and elders they can use this for them when they have a hard time
to answer that questions or problem solving's and much more.
