Doing a literature review.

The repeated instructions to do a literature review have some of the complexities

of the task. But why should you do one .The review that from part of research proposal , paper ,thesis
is an important introduction to the research project and underpins the argument about why the
project is worth doing .it therefore formed a distinctly recognizable section near the beginning and
leads on the more specific and practical discription .In the dissertation and thesis there is one chapter .
consisting of a research literature relevant to the research under consideration.

In oder understand the present of art

You need to read what other people have written about research in your subject and make some kind
of assessment.where your research will fit into the that body of work .you need to establish what your
are purpose has not been done in the same way before .

To do this you need to find ,out what has been researched and how witnin the area that you
want to investigate the how is important , because the way previous research has been conducted will
provide a useful experience in using relevant research methods for collecting and analysis data.

The literature review can be used to show where you have gain inspiration to develop your
ideas .it should also demonstrate that you have a good understanding of the current conceptual
framework in your subject and that you can take a stance in placing your work within these .

Doing a literature review mean not only tracking down all the relevant information but also
taking a critical position on the ideas you will need to eval6 the relevant to document to you research
question or objectives.
