 A concept paper aims to clarify a concept that can be about any topic
from any field. It can also be a summary that tells the reader what the
project is, why it is important, and how it will be carried out. It aims to
capture the thoughts and ideas while the research proposal captures the
ideas in a structured manner for approval to research. It is not easy to
write a concept paper but with careful study and research, you can
create one.

The title should capture the essence of the study, while the introduction sets the stage, providing context
and arousing curiosity about the research topic.
 Statement of the problem
Clearly articulate the problem your research aims to address. This section lays the groundwork for the
significance of your study.
 Purpose of the study
Define the overall objective of your research. What do you aim to achieve through your study? This section
aligns your research with a clear purpose.

address the problem and purpose of the study.
 Theoretical Framework
Establish a theoretical foundation that supports your research. Identify relevant theories or frameworks
that provide a conceptual basis for your study

Detail the research design, sampling, data collection, and analysis procedures. This section outlines the
systematic approach you will employ to answer your research questions

Explain the importance of your research. How will your study contribute to existing knowledge or address
gaps in the literature?

Summarize existing research relevant to your study. Identify key concepts, theories, and findings that
